You guys are doing a fantastic job (collectively and individually) with all of the coverage of this new land (across several platforms)!! People may think that it's not "work" because you're talking about fun things in a theme park, but I know you're all working very hard, and it takes a lot of effort to put all of these videos, reviews and articles together quickly, while the opening of the land is still fresh on everyone's minds. Craig might as well move into an apartment on Batuu at this point -- he has spent so much time there this past week, gathering content for The DIS, and it is greatly appreciated!! I really look forward to the next weekly Disneyland show you all do, to hear everyone's post-trip thoughts, observations and discussion.

Those prices are too much for me because I’m the one paying the bill for a group of 6. That would be $252 for 6 drinks. It’s time to tell my adult kids we are going Dutch when going to Disneyland.

Doing a great job with the GE coverage. Really appreciate all your hard work. The cantina is a must do but $42 for a souvenir cup! No thank you. Those prices are outrageous, even by Disney standards.

The prices!!! OMG!!! NO WAY!!! The atmosphere looks amazing, but the drinks don’t sound very appealing and the prices are outrages!! For these prices I would respect to hear people say the drinks were REALLY delicious. Between the $200 lightsabers and the $48 dollar souvenir mugs! Yikes! I’m use to Disneyland being expensive and the prices increase every year but these just seem crazy!

Junk Drawer Lol! I get it, that’s what I’m saying, they charge these prices cause they know we’ll spend it! We ALWAYS end up buying expensive souvenirs, artwork, clothing ect... just seems like it just gets increasingly worse! And that’s in addition to the rising admission prices and expensive hotel rates too! But of course we’ll go and pay whatever we have to, to have the experience, just seems like some of these Galaxy’s Edge prices are even HIGHER than already high prices inside the park.

Junk Drawer Yeah the droids look REALLY cool!! And that’s such a specialty item that I could justify the $150 price point. Even the experience of making them looks amazing! Sometimes we set our selves a bit of a limit, we’ll buy one or two pricier “ quality” items and then cut back on the T-shirt’s, hoodies and impulse items. But then we get there and you get sucked into the excitement of everything and end up buying way more than you intended! Lol! I bet living close by is a blessing and a curse! We’d probably spend a lot more of we weren’t paying so much for in hotel charges and three days of high prices eating in the park. We do find better prices and somethings even better food eating in Downtown Disney. We’re planning our next Disneyland trip for December and I’m sure we’ll end up caving in and getting something cool from Galaxy’s Edge. Guess we better start saving now! Lol!

I think the alcoholic beverages are over priced to prevent drunk tourism in a park themed for kids. Who needs someone's alcoholic aunt vomiting in the tea cups, just because she found out she could buy liquor at edgy galaxy.

@@ceejay3777 I don't think so. I was there just before New Years eve (busiest time of the year). Didn't get a chance to get inside, but there was a long line. So I believe it's just a long wait, depending, probably a limit for how many people can be inside.

Beer flights are always small pours. For $75 dollars it’s pretty steep but I love that the mugs are ceramic and quality. I would get it just to have the board for parties and stuff

I’m pretty sure you can get the drinks without the souvenir glass if you want to save some money. You’re able to do that at Trader Sam’s, so I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to at Oga’s Cantina

I think it’s good to point out that all the drinks come from a tap and are pre-made/mixed. There are no alcohol bottles or bottles for that matter, so if you’re expecting to get a custom mixed drink, it won’t happen...you have to order what’s on the menu.

My only disappointment of today is that I saw Rino and Tom walking out of Adventureland and I was too chicken to say hi! I’m brave now and hope to run in to y’all to say hi! Thank you so much for all of the AWESOME videos! We can’t wait for Galaxy’s Edge in the morning!!

it just sounds they didn't like the ingredients really like their taste buds themselves, personally the $42 one sounds good to me, i like tropical!! Also $6 fine you're paying that for a turkey leg or dole whip anyways.. $42 a little steep but you do get 1st edition cup. I can't wait to go thanks for your videos guys! :)

I usually don’t care about paying over the top prices at Theme Parks or any touristy place but those souvenir cups wow they’ve pushed that price out of the Galaxy . They are probably made in China for a dollar .

The thing that made your mouth go numb is a Sichuan button, the Cuban place in my town uses them as decoration for a couple dishes. They feel like they "electrocute" your mouth. Honestly that's a really interesting thing to put in a drink. Really creative, I'll actually give them props for that.

I can’t believe that the company known for Audio Animatronics didn’t spend the money on making the band from the Star Wars canteen scene!?!? I know that this is a “different canteen” but the band could be “on tour” there. Every dumpy as Chuck E Cheese in the country has their band and Disney would only have to make their band at 2 locations. What a missed opportunity and it’s such an obvious cost cutting decision.

Thanks for sharing. I just got our family passes again after a 3 yr hiatus and we're excited to see all the new changes. We're avid drinkers and the cost-to-booze ratio at Oga's sounds...umm, nuts. You'd literally have to be drunk to spend $75 on a beer flight that contains Sierra Nevada-anything. I hope with the relative failure of attendance this year so far for Galaxy's Edge, those prices come down a LOT.

You can get some of those non alcoholic drinks at other places without waiting in line for hours. Seems like a waste. I am positive if you want the collectible ewok mugs they can make it non alcoholic for you. Disney is an international place and a lot of the world doesn't drink.

It’s about standard pricing now for a Sam’s mug. I think the bowls there are now $75ish with drink.

I have 3 Trader Sam's mugs and the plastic non-alcoholic cup and I'm pretty sure I paid $5-15 for all of them, but that was several years ago so I guess it's only natural that Disney would have jacked up the prices given how popular they are. I'd say $25 for a mug was way overpriced, but over $40 is just obscene.

The popcorn can be found anywhere, so I agree with you. But the souvenir cups can only be found in the parks, making them rare items. For obsessive fans and collectors the uniqueness of the cups, not the alcohol is the purchase motivator. Myself I want a Rancor set and the Porg cup. Next time I go I will probably buy them so I can display at home.

Ceramic mugs are pricier than plastic ones, and it includes the cost of the drink. But I wouldn’t be so ok to fork over that kind of money.

Disney’s mugs are notoriously poor quality. They are typically not dishwasher or microwave safe (which is a good indicator of quality) and they chip really easily. I only buy the Starbucks ones because they are produced in line with the other Starbucks ones and are better quality. I would hesitate to buy these Cantina mugs even if just displaying them - I noticed they weren’t stamped with much info on the base

42 dollars for Malibu and pineapple juice! No F*&KING WAY! Spending 200 dollars for a light saber in comparison makes it a bargain. I would MAYBE spend 12 dollars for something like that, AND it looks like its made out of plastic!
