You might be able to run a rake with it, but I don't know if it's got enough power to run a haybine or a baler.

John Craftenworth I've got a degree in Manufacturing Engineer ing and have been in Manufacturing for 25 years. I use to work for Alamo Industrial, the company that makes Rhino, Tiger King, Alamo Industrial, etc. What are your qualifications??? I also own a farm, and grow crops on it and I have several different models of tractors. I've driven and repaired tractors (and when I say repaired, I mean rebuilt diesel engines, and have machined parts) when I was 16 years old, at the local tractor shop and do it on my spair time today. What have you built or grown??

I'm a pro market gardener and have been doing so profitably for years. I researched the tractor your described and it's not nor could it ever be even close to the utility of a farmall cub or allis G. Also, adjusted for inflation, I doubt 12,500 is really that expensive. It's probably right in line with what an allis g cost back in the day, maybe cheaper. On a growing scale where a person might use a speedex tractor, the italians already produce and export far more useful 2 wheel tractors that can work in even tighter spaces, are easy to control, and have many useful implements available. I have built a strawberry picking contraption that will likely revolutionize the strawberry industry for the few years until the robot pickers take over.

the speedex is not for vegetable/diverse crop farmers. it's not a good design for that, but the farmall cub, a, super a, 130, 140 are...as well as the Allis B and especially G tractors. I use a BCS and a ford 9n, but am looking to add a cub, 140, or allis g. Maybe I'll save up and get a Tillmor, their design looks promising and they are a well equipped company to build and service tractors and implements, they manufacture ventrac tractor/mowers.

John Craftenworth a BCS is good for gardening, a lot of work though, i use to own a 9n, great mowing tractor as long as you have an overrun coupler on the PTO. Only flaw is it NOT having an independent 3 point hydraulic system, meaning you have to run the pump in the transmission for the 3 point to work. I've got a Farmall 240 gas, great little tractor, not so much for planting I have a 2 row John Deere Flex 71 planter, limited view, I'm actually going to buy a Farmall A this week with the all the cultivator attachments and with the fertilizer/seeder attachment. That's a great gardening tractor, especially if you have around 5 to 10 acres, great view of the seed going into the ground. They last forever.

the 130/140 are a more advanced farmall A, they have I think dual independent hydraulic draft control on mid mount and rear mount cultivators, plus pto and you get can get traditional draftbar, 1 point hitch or convert either of those to 3 pt. If you don't need the power, a farmall cub is slightly smaller and more or less the same kind of viewing setup for cultivating. The bcs, wheel hoes and hand tools are the right tools in a garden, an allis G or farmall offset steering wheel tractor is the right tool in the field. At the moment I only do corn, potatoes, melons and squash in a field crop environment.

As the oggun along with the tilmor based off the Allis Chalmers G believe to have revolutionized how farmers around the world would grow crops as the tractors would be made with common components as if a part breaks farmers would find a replacement nearly anywhere.

The more Ive looked at the more i realize its more of a modern version of the tuff built which is a modern version of the G model which was an offshoot of the H2 rear engine tractor. I thought the Tuff Bilt was very unique in design and was kind of a niche thing that doesnt have any real competition but as i search around youtube there are now multiple versions of the tractor style all around the world. Our family has a Tuff Built and its one of the most fun pieces of machinery to operate. It is extremely versatile. so im glad to see other options becoming available. If i could only have one of the 8 or so tractors in our families, id choose a Tuff Bilt style.

If you look at the photos on our website you'll see that the center of gravity is in front of the rear axles. Because of the improved weight distribution compared to the Allis G, we have not had that problem of the front end raising up. We do, though, offer an optional front weight rack that handles standard tractor weights if you did ever need it. i do really like the design it diffrent but practicaland it works well

@Ambrose Mackinnon, we have a tough built which is an older tractor of similar design, it is very versatile and plows just fine.
