I've been a hardcore UCONN for 22 years and I've absolutely loathed Notre Dame since the 2001 season but I have to give big props to this kid. What an incredibily special thing for a player to do in back to back games for a title.

Since Mississippi State defeated them to take away their 5th undefeated season in a row, the door blew open. We know Paige Bueckers was out this year, but they fell on the sweet 16. For a while a UConn-less final four was impossible to think. Now it's a reality

What a job by the Notre Dame fighting Irish! More ACL tears than losses this season and they managed to win it all and had to go through UCONN. Two double digit comebacks vs UCONN and Mississippi state. Go Irish!!!☘️☘️☘️ 5 national championship appearances in 8 years but finally got the win! Hats off Mississippi state, Fantastic team.
