Ogunquit beaches are now open. If you want to enjoy the sand and surf, then you need to follow the strict rules. It is a clean, beautiful great beach to walk on and quiet or not so much crowded.
Ogunquit beach has something for everyone. If you love body surfing, there are good waves for body surfing on the ocean side. The vast expanses of sand, a river area that forms a bay when the tide is right, and even an opportunity to go tubing on the river on the incoming and outgoing tides. It's very easy to social distance. Parking at Ogunquit beach can be a nightmare, try to get there early. $20 parking cost is a little bit expensive but it is worth the price for the wonderful time you will spend on this gorgeous beautiful beach!
If you are planning to go to the Ogunquit beach, make sure to take your tube or float to ride the river as the tide goes in and out.
The beach changes dramatically from high tide to low tide and this beach is around 2 miles long, you will definitely love it.
Another great thing about the Ogunquit beach in Maine is the river connects to the ocean. And the water in the river is much warmer than the ocean and it makes a very nice small area to swim in.
Because of all these features, I guess Ogunquit beach might have been listed in "ONE OF THE TOP 20 BEACHES"

I’ve only been to Maine once and was very impressed. The people were friendly and it was so peaceful there. This was nice to see the beach area. And it’s always amazing to see the tides shift as evening comes upon us.

The town looks so quaint and cozy. I love towns like that. When I think of beautiful beaches I don't usually think of Maine, but this has changed my thinking. It's gorgeous! I love how it doesn't look over crowded too. that makes it even better!

What a great beach! Lovely to see how people enjoy themselves in the water. One of my favorite things on the beach is walking barefoot next to the water. Sometimes having to jump aside when a wave comes up a bit high! 😉

I love Maine! Spent the last 6 summers up there. I actually never got to Ogunquit Beach. Been several others up and down the coast but, never Ogunquit. Oh man nostalgia watching you go over that bridge. Yeh parking during the season in those seaside town of Maine can be a pain in the butt. Not surprised it's that expensive. I do love the set up of those little towns. They are so quaint. You picked great music for this. Very relaxing.

Mariner Resort, outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, clean, friendly, accommodating staff , BBQ grill in the back, where the back of property has volleyball net overlooks the ogunquit River/ tidal marshes. Reasonable, I paid about 800 for 3 nights. My favorite beach for years: nice waves, yet when tide goes out, warm areas of water left on beach, slowly draining into ogunquit river, which is wonderful for little ones. Plenty of room for beach activities on this pristine soft white sand beach. No meddlesome rocks and pebbles to walk over. You'd love this beach!!!!

This was my family vacation spot every year, but I haven't been able to go there in years. I'll finally be going in a few days and I have a 3 year old now. She has never been to the ocean. She watches this video all the time, in anticipation for "Gonquit." That was me 40 years ago. We're all super excited and I can't wait to walk down those ramps, which used to be cement, to the sand. Take me HOME
