@@faithst.pierre7287 Nah, but as a Black woman I do get the feeling of taking down your hair after a long day but I have always felt that the things listed above brings me more joy. I had to sleep with my pigtails in with a scarf or pair of panties covering my hair so that getting ready for school was less time consuming so I’m probably not as hype about the hair take down. My hair was only taken down once per week for wash day, growing up. As an adult my hair is taken down once every other week now though so still not as good because once the take down happens, the real work begins.

When I was in high school marching band one year our theme was military so we had to dress and train like in the military. Our band teacher was a retired army vet and her brother was still in it so he sent her training videos and we had to go through boot camp from June to March which was the end of competition and everyone with long hair had to keep it in a slick bun. But oh how it felt good to brush out your hair afterwards and scratch your scalp. It was heavenly

@@marieO07 oh it was horrible and exhausting but that’s what we signed up for when we joined marching band. To perform whatever drill given. The final performance was beautiful so it was worth it. Unfortunately she passed a few years ago from cancer rest her soul

As a criminology student i can confirm this, also some other hair gel really puts like scalp dandruff and white powdery stuff on ya hair it's crazy. My hair be like clean slippery slide but when i made my hair messy the powder stuff shows as if someone smacked your head with a chalk eraser

I'm in jrotc and for that I literally just take a shower after school (since we wear uniform every Wednesday, plus for some events that we do) since my hair gel that I use makes my hair crusty

nah fr, im in jrotc too im my school it’s my 3rd year of taking it next year i’ll be a senior and my hair be so crusty it’s so annoying

Same omg. I use hairspray to keep my hair slicked back, and I have bangs so I gotta put extra, and even after three days the smell is still there omg.
