I'm not sure if he was referring to darren one can only speculate but darren has always said that he doesn't believe in labels so and that love isn't black and white so who other than himself really knows how he identifies all we know is that he has a girlfriend. I really hope this doesn't come across as condescending as that's not how I intend it and we all love darren regardless anyway 😊😊😊😊

No, it's cool. I just thought it was an interesting comment from him and was curious what, or who, exactly, he meant by it. Obviously, "Blaine" wasn't the only other gay character on the show. By the end, there were at least five others. But, so far as I know, none of the actors beyond Chris was actually gay. At any rate, who knows. Like I said, Darren has said that he's straight. But, then, as he has said about his current role as Hedwig, "Darren goes in a box" when he's into a role and seems to let the character take over. So, I suppose anything is possible in the right context.
