extra mana is better the earlier you get it so a 3 mana one is not power creep. 1 mana ramp is twice as good as a 2 mana one and a 2 mana ramp is 50% better than a 3 mana one. it's not to say the card will be bad but the earlier you see that mana the more mana it is actually giving you. the turn after you play it you see a 1 mana return then the turn after that it's a 2 mana return and so on. rampant growth on 3 was never played for that reason unless you got it off zephras in a slow match ups where your both passing for at least the first 3 turns so it needs something extra and your not gonna see it's value till turn 10 so it's a pretty slow card. it might be really good honestly i don't know but it's definitely not power creeped wild growth cause i guarantee you every player would rather have wild growth or that dragon wild growth in their opener over this.

i think it was reverted after rotation, so wild players see it at 2 mana again and standard players still think druid ramping on THREE is problematic.

Why? Like guff was good bc you would have ability to draw 2 cards a turn and use your 20 mana more effective, this spell have 0 draw. You can't use this mana this effective like with Guff. Like you would still play 1 card + heropower like you would do even without this card...

The extra mana is beyond irrelevant. By the time Druid gets to 10 mana they already have infinite due to doing Dorian+Eonar combos. It MIGHT matter in like Odyn Warrior for bigger turns, but if Warrior can stabalize after Odyn they win anyway regardless of how much mana they have.

@@MinoriGaming I mean obviously if you hit prison the card is insane, I'm sure there are also some decent combinations of discover a card locations where a 7 mana 4/5 draw like 3-4 cards is probably okay. But then when you hit the 1 mana druid location + some other crap one it's going to lose you the game on the spot. I don't know maybe I'm coping and the card is genuinely like b tier playable instead of the stark unplayable crap I think it is.

Like if new height was 2 mana gain a mana Crystal lose 1 max mana it would be a much more interesting design imo

@@amethonys2798 Warrior is currently a strong deck that uses boom and unkilliax in most decks already. They have plenty of removal and armor gain to deal with aggro already. Hydration station in a lot of ways is better than reno when it spits out 2 or 3 unkilliax. Thanks to hydration station being almost a better reno I wouldn't be surprised if non-highlander becomes the better warrior deck, meaning they can run double of all their best removal and life gain, and crucially double hydration station so they don't even miss reno. Non-highlander will likely go back to Odyn as the main win condition, boomboss isn't as good but it may still make the cut, excavate may not make the cut only getting 2 minions out of azerite ox. You have a point about aggro being a balancing factor, for druid. Warrior will dominate until nerfs IMO.

@tappy8741 I just think the game is going to be way too fast with all the new pirates and Handbuff Paladin getting effectively BUFFED to justify playing a 3 mana do nothing or 3 cards that also do literally nothing without set up (hydration and boom). Does Warrior typically do things early game? No, not necessarily, but forging forged in flame or playing shield block to gain health and dig for removal is still far more impactful than MAYBE ramping into a swing card which is pretty much just Brawl.

Not only are the greedier decks going to just die, but even other tempo style decks like the actually good neutral elementals "reviving" elemental shaman and mage are going to see no play because they won't he able to compete in tempo match ups against giant overstatted idiots.
