I received a RFE . I’m an asylee and applied for my green card and I forgot to send my physical exam. I went and did my physical and sent it but my case haven’t been updated. It just says that the request for evidence was received and they are back to working on my case again but they haven’t updated it for months .

I got RFE a couple months ago and already submitted all he documents in August but the thing is I only sent the paperwork with the coversheet of the notice( containing the unique number) instead of the whole noice which contains 7 pages. Can I be denied?

i applied for n400 and passed the interview, then after 3 days i received a ltter for RFE stating that "You must provide evidence that you worked for your petitioning employer" but the sad part i didnt work my petitioning employer what should i do? i only have one of the RFE list they asking for. hope you i can get an answer soon, i got till July 2024 to respond. thank you for helping us

We 11 months into USCIS for cr1 we didn’t send bank transfers between us or letters from family or friends. We send pics , chats,calls . I added hubby on my 401k, Life insurance and my taxes . And proof of all my travels to South Africa, I sent proof I met my hubby 8 times , that includes meeting in Thailand for our honeymoon. Should I upload the bank transfers showing we sent money to each other ?

Dear Mr. Hacking, My sister applied for I-130 request on 30-Dec-2008 for 3 sisters and me (1 brother). In 2010, USCIS asked for additional evidence (My Birth Certificate, which was also provided with the initial submission). However, my sister again immediately posted my birth certificate to USCIS. The worrying issue is that when we check the status of our case on USCIS website, it still shows that request for additional evidence. When my sister called USCIS to update the correct status. The USCIS acknowledged receiving the documents and told her to ignore the website message. It will update automatically in future, but till now (Mar 2023) it has not. Should we ignore the old additional evidence message as USCIS informed us or is there any action required for us?

My mom got a rfe before the interview exactly as you said. Uscis asked for proof of marriage such as leases, bank statements, properties together, affidavits of support etc Also, they requested the rfe for medicals but they expected that. Their lawyer said it’s not a big deal because they submitted almost a year ago so maybe they just want an update. Should I tell them to change lawyers?

What is you get an RFE just to submit the i-693 to make a final decision? For me it sounds that the interview has been waived. I received a previous a courtesy notice saying that I needed to provide the 693 at the interview.

90% cases get RFE , I got too and submitted as they asked , they received on 9 November 2022 and I am still wait for their approval of Green card . As I heard it takes 120 days to approve and deliver green card but I see the status that no further evidence required by USCIS , it’s under review since 9 November 2022 till date 7 march 2023 . I got married in 2021 April and we submit files in July same year (but didn’t submit the medical exam), after that I received my work permit few month after. Now in 2023 may 7 they requested me RFE my medical exam, and my partner they also ask for more proof of marriage. We gather all documents and send ir June 1. How long does it take to make a decision?
