I’ve been meaning to make an animatic with Kiri in it and it’s about time I did!! Shes too cute not to :’)
I also can never decide how I want to draw Fjord! Maybe one day I’ll stick to one design ,, (_　_|||)

Beau missing a tooth is the most in character design choice I’ve ever seen and now declare it as a permanent feature in my head

@@motthubris5122 I always figured the in universe explanation for “your tooth got knocked out” in battle to a week later when they forget about it, was that the clerics could like hold your tooth to where it was and heal it back in.

I love Mollys design in this. He tends to be really overdesigned (Which, makes sense, its kind of his thing) but he is just hard to look at in so many depictions. This makes him not just easy to look at, but gives him charm. His height, clothes, and lankiness give me big Legoshi vibes.

i do love his design, but honestly if i were him i would NOT take my very intricate and likely valuable pretty coat directly into battle and travel where i will be burned, sliced, dirtied, and soaked frequently

Kiri is the character that made me realize that Mathew Mercer is a god in voice acting. He copied the voice of the cast while they were doing an accent that he also copied. Like how? How can he do that?

Copying a fake voice is somehow easier than a natural voice. People can copy a lot of the characters from family guy but not brian, because thats just seths natural speaking voice.

I absolutely love that you didn't make Beau muscular, but gave her some lean abs. Everybody draws her with these massive biceps, triceps, and delts. She only has a strength of 10, that's the average person, she should look lean, not muscular. Great job!

@@indoggedon-03 About 100% sure. Beau and Yasha have two very different outfit designs. I think they draw Beau as muscular because Marisha does that cringe thing where she attempts to make her biceps seem larger than they actually are.

true but marisha makes that mistake too. strictly speaking she is tied for weakest next to caleb and caduceus. less raw physical strength than nott even. the monk class is supppsed to be about "its not the size of the muscle, its the motion of the knuckle", but she constantly affects this weird gym bro vibe instead.

Your art and the way you color it reminds so much of Blue Turtle's art. But if it were consistently animated through. I really hope to more stuff like this from you, even if it's less than a minute.

So a couple years ago I was a part of a short lived campaign where I played a black Arakokra. I had never seen CR and was looking for an avatar pic and unintentionally used some one's fan art of Kiri. I loved that character. Rahfl Mow (yes like roflmao) the Monk/Rogue who used a longsword like a great sword as a monk weapon and spoke in the third person.

I dunno if you'll see this but Catflur, this animatic is what introduced and endeared me to the Mighty Nein, and I'm so thankful for it! All your animations are so expressive and sweet, and even after listening to almost all of CR I keep coming back to this! Btw you're also the reason I went into C2 thinking Beau had a southern accent and was gonna be the sweetest, turns out that's just Marisha

This is awesome! One small note, when Molly puts a hand on Nott’s shoulder, Molly puts the left hand, but then when we zoom out it’s the right hand. Nothing significant, but worth mentioning. Still fantastic, especially the facial expressions and movements!
