Hi there! So just to clarify, you’re 4’11” and lowering your Ninja 400 made it possible for you to tiptoe? How does the bikes handling feel after being lowered? Also, do you wear boots that add height? I’m sorry for all of the questions! I’m highly considering getting one and just want to ensure I can ride it as I’m only 4’11.5” (gotta count the half 🥺😂) before I drop the money! Thank you for sharing this - this just made me super excited ❤️❤️

I only had it lowered an inch and a half. But I do feel more comfortable with that height. I will wear boots sometimes, but wear tennis shoes most of the times. But because the 400 is such a light bike, I feel comfortable tip-toeing it. To be fair I’m also all torso and have super short legs. So it makes it even harder. So if you have a normal size torso and legs, it might be better for you even though we’re the same height. i’ve always been told my whole life that I’m too small to ride a bike. And I finally met somebody that said screw that I’m gonna teach you. And it was the best thing anyone’s ever done for me. I ride & absolutely love it, and any chance I get I will tell anybody no matter how short they are they can for sure ride. I also ride with a girl once in a while in a group and she is shorter than me. I want to say she’s 4’8” or 4’9”. She rides a 300. Had it lowered quite a bit. It does effect her performance. I’d be happy to answer any other question you might have.

Im 153cm, 5'0 i believe. So i can touch the ground with that bike? Is lowering an option?

I lowered mine. I still can’t flat foot it on either side. But I can tippy toe it. And I’m fine.

For real? You're only 4'11? I'm planning to buy a bigbike.

I wish I could get a big bike. I’d be ok riding it…it’s the stopping I’d have a problem with.
