Thank you for your interest Mario. We live in a country where space is not a premium, so we dance with all the advantages of having available space to maneuver. This particular clip shows a series of exercises to get rid of the hideous habit of walking straight between the woman's legs, something that definitely is not done anywhere by real tango dancers. Im talking about the change of direction part.. it takes some getting used to and hard to do for the first time with a new partner .... cambio de frente

... an opportunity to the woman to walk forward facing the line of dance and to be able to either perform a change of direction or go around the man on a giro to the left. If you're interested in learning how to do it, we'll be glad to point you to a clip where it actually shows how to do it.

I've done this exercise with other teachers from BA... but I've never seen this figure done like this in a video of an actual social dance in BA... I've watched countless hours of video... and so, I guess that it is meant just as an exercise to improve something.
