I love how the changes helped make the story better instead of being an obstacle- even though I don’t know a ton about the story, I’ve noticed little things (like how marshlanders are usually good at fighting predators which makes Rainfall’s comment at the gathering even more insulting and it just generally makes more sense). I’m just SO EXCITED to see where the story goes!

That ranking is making me want to do some DND with this world, ngl...

It’s inspired me to distance my own original story from the Warriors lore and adopt something that closer resembles the Clouded Moon lore. Your lore is so creative and has inspired me to start working on a Clouded Moon animatic!

I love this so much! I've already started creating with some of the lore and I came up with a Colony called Plateau Colony. It's a plateau type of terrain with red sand and open land, so a lot of the cats are big so that they can fight off above predators like hawks and other big birds but at the same time they're quick and fairly strong because they have to jump from rock to rock to just get up to their camp.

I’m right there with you in thinking that shorter, more scripted videos make information easier to retain than longer, unscripted ones, so thank you very much for making this video to further clarify stuff from the lore stream! Also, as someone who’s an absolute nerd for fantasy cultures and stuff, I nearly screamed out loud when I saw this video in my notifications!!!

Wonderful!! I've been trying to learn as much about the Colony Culture because I find it fascinating and honestly a breath of fresh air from the constant clan and warriors stuff that, to be honest, isn't as deep and thought out as Colony culture, since the Colonies have such a broad perspective and very different aspects to each one, making them much more unique and different than any clan I've seen.

I love this lore so much, i even started to make my own colony up to kinda fit into this universe. There kinda like the skyclan of this universe but they actually live in the desert. Their official name will be either the Desert colony or Dune colony their 'captain' is called Sahara (cause ya know). Though to some of the alliance colonies they just call them renegade colony since they accept cats no matter the background and their not really apart of the alliance. So you really don't need to be tested to get in, so you see cats of many lives walking in the sands of this colony.

I'm SO in love with the lore and world building y'all have created. This is fantastic. And I gushed about it at Tennelle and Whitney's stream but I love the new naming convention. Perfect. So many possibilities!

All my oc’s started as warriors but there a ton of story holes that just didn’t make sense so when y’all did this, oh I went crazy I love so much and I just said y’all are all colony cats now have fun!! This world leaves so much to the imagination but also has very clear guidelines to follow. That’s the type of fantasy world I’m into, I love it so much thank you for creating such an amazing world!❤️❤️

I added up all the points for all the colonies and wanted to see who was objectively the best. I guessed that it would be River, Marsh, Field and Oak from worst to best. And they all land at 72 total *except* Field who lands at 75. I never thought it would be so close! Great vid Snap! I look forward to more

I was feeling like an OC of this would be great to make but then I kinda realized my main sona, Ember/Emberpatch, fits into Marsh perfectly. A little bit bigger and heavier (despite being just a tad short uwu) *INSANELY* protective of kits (and got /quite/ a few of her own), pretty friendly, not alllllways the smartest but pretty okay and just a tendency to do slightly smarter things than a good few of those around her (more for her having any cunning at all, her intelligence would be pretty average for her colony), not the fastest but can make it places when she needs to, not as precise as she could be but pretty alright (maybe just slightly less than the colony average), not intimidating most of the time but if she actually gets mad (which isn't easy, she's not highly aggressive at all, very loving and empathetic) then she could be pretty scary, maybe a couple boxes higher tenacity than her colony average especially if another life is at risk but knows when to quit sometimes, about average spirituality of the colony, maybe a box or two less strength because a portion of her size is her fluff and she is kinda smaller because of her height, and decently charismatic (closer to Oak's average) because she's a soft fluffball who's very kind and is short and calm even when she's being a bit colder and less friendly, almost never outright aggressive, just pretty and smart and seemingly harmless. *TL;DR* Charisma is about the only stat of hers that varies too strongly from Marsh Colony, maybe cunning a bit much too but not so severely.

I ADORE Finchflight's design! She's so pretty! Although, don't get me wrong, the others look amazing too! You're such a good artist!

I know this was uploaded 5 months ago but I wanted to say this project, and especially this video, has been super inspirational to get me to keep working on my own worldbuilding project, and what sort of world will set up a good story. Thank you so much for doing this and making it so accessible!

Hmmm…with Wind colonies habits of stealing kits from renegades…and Oak colonies habits of accepting renegades…there is a possibility of Wind colony stealing kits from a renegade who later joins Oak colony…the possibilities that brings is rather fun to think about.

i love the changes you made about the lore. it's so inspiring and makes me want to make up my own fantasy cat world! and the ranking system i think is a very good idea. since this project has multiple people working on it, i doubt you have this problem, for for single-person projects it can be easy to have favoritism towards one group over others, so having a ranking chart like the one in the video and having a certain number of pips for each group helps to give each group the attention and world building they need while making them unique from the others. it's a really good idea! the shorter video structure is much better imo. while i love listening to streams and long videos as background noise while i work on other things, i tend to space out and not listen to a lot of it. the shorter video structure makes it easier to not get distracted. one criticism i have though is the font you used when talking about the ancestor's law. it's kind of hard to read and hurts my eyes a bit. idk if i'm the only one who had that problem tho

My OC Snowfeather would be perfect for the Marsh colony she's a massive bulky woman and her long fur helps that as well with her thick "mane" and long buff legs. Not to mention she's highly aggressive and smart and hates almost all cat's ^^'

The way that they celebrate their “holidays” are so wholesome (except the day of the dead but I like the way they put gifts on their graves it’s so sad but also shows how they really are their own society) I also am in love with this story!! There was so much thought out into this new system and it shows!! I cant wait for the next episode to come out!

I know the story isn't necessarily supposed to take place in a specific real-life location, but I like the idea of the colonies being in Mexico. The climate matches and there's a lot of potential for biodiversity. Also could you imagine the cats having to deal with a Jaguar?

I haven't watched the Lore Stream yet (and I absolutely will), I've only read the lore doc, but this answers a couple of details I haven't known yet such as Marsh Colony's new-claw training or Mistyclaw's father, and I love the representation of pips to show the various traits of the Colonies. One question, though: if you weren't trying to balance them exactly, would Field Colony's spirituality be 12 pips instead of 11? Or is there an in-universe reason for it? A great video nonetheless, the background music/sounds are soothing but not distracting! And the timestamps are a wonderful addition, thank you so much for adding them! Another quick question: what was Mistyclaw's father's full title, if it's not a spoiler? Love from a Clouded Moon fanatic. ❤

Wait are we allowed to make fan characters? Yes! I think I would fit into oak colony, I'm the type to question authority and religion. My unwillingness to actually give in is also a detriment. I think I would also be able to work in marsh. My family is more muscular and we aren't small or skinny people by any means. I also don't have a lot of skills so can relate. This was really fun ty for doing it!

i just calculated the averages of the Colonies, and if my math was correct, i got this: River: 6 Marsh: 6 Oak: 6 Field: 6.25 Field Colony is therefore the best (if i was correct)

If I were a Lake colony cat, I would either be in the River or Marsh colony, since I really like water and mud.

I love all the colonies but my most favorite is field colony. Their speed is one I relate to a lot and how they basically fight is how I would if I was in clouded moon or in warriors. Sadly I do not relate to their spirituality and question it but I love field colony
