Stefan, last year, on one of the early days of this tournament, I just dropped by. Hesham and Marwan were playing some practice games. I never thought I would see the world's best here in Houston, but it was such a delight to watch. Hesham seems like a humble, good person even in person.

Hesham is finally making the much expected step forward in his career, playing some very constantly solid squash together with what seems to be his best physical shape yet. Not sure it will be enough against Ali Farag though.

@@jackmorgan2747 Many times it's a matter of how one player copes with another's style of play. Even if there's a big difference in ranking, certain players can be very hard to deal with. As far as I can remember, Farag would usually dispatch of Hesham quite easily due to his pace, pickup abilities and mostly - his focus and patience.

Hesham is a very talented guy, and very friendly. It's nice to see him start to add consistency to his bow. It's been a struggle between mental and physical for him, despite his huge talent.

Incredible from Hesham, especially after that brutal match with Asal. 2 wonderful wins back to back. The reward? Another match, now against the world number 1. Hardly seems fair!

Insane effort by Hesham. Hope he upsets Ali in the final. Beating Asal/Mohammed/Farag to win would be an unreal achievement.

Great game. Hesham has really improved. He doesn't have that weird back swing before he hits the ball much anymore. I really like how Hesham isn't looking to score points off a stroke like others do. Well done to both players.
