Good job judge, jury, prosecutors, and even Tonica. Tonica wanted to roll the dice instead of serving a concurrent sentence. Tonica is now serving two consecutive sentences. This is a very dangerous, calculated, and manipulative woman and should never be released to the public. I hope Melissa is able to heal from this horrific tragedy and changed her lifestyle for the better. This was an eye opener on what drugs can lead to. Ohio is wrong for not providing victim benefits. She was a victim to a violent crime regardless of her drug addiction.

The two best parts of this story are the justice for the victim (Melissa) and the punishment for the criminals. I fell in love with Melissa’s spirit and attitude; and knowing she’s doing well made my heart sing. Managing to put her life together after drug addiction and a murder attempt says so much about her. Addiction is brutal; and it can destroy lives so easily. I can tell her family loves her and she loves them. To watch the scowling faces of the defendants sitting side by side revealed exactly what kind of people they are. It’s easy to look at drug addicts and write them off as low lifes. But in reality the low lifes are the daughter, mother and brother. They were willing to do anything to get what they wanted; even if it meant to murder someone. But in the end brother and sister didn’t get what they wanted; they got what they deserved. And mom will receive hers when she stands before God.

This individual is indeed an absolute maniac... I can't believe she did all of that to Melissa, That was absolutely horrid to say the least. Im so glad that girl survived to tell her story. God Bless her. 🥂🙇🏾‍♀️

Who paid the high cost lawyers to try to get the Jenkins off of the hook. The judge & prosecution should have never let any questioning from the defense of bringing up her (criminal past). The Judge is complicit . Thank God the jury did the right thing. :.

Damn Tonica is wicked as hell 😮 She had so much potential to actually go to college and get a degree 📜. Use her smarts for good and no evil like to choose to do instead. I would love a follow up story on how she turns out once she’s spent some time in the halfway house.

Hey Court TV!! How about doing a show on victims and how they are moving forward and healing? Maybe a follow-up on Melissa at some point. We all become so interested and invested in the victims.

Unbelievable! Courts should be strict. If you're convicted DO ALL THE TIME! Sooo many stories of criminals getting away when they should've been locked up.I'm not worried cause I don't do stupid, criminal behavior.
