I hate my job as a police officer and I listen to this every morning just before work and it helps. This past Friday I performed a traffic stop on a car making a turn where the sign so no turning. I asked for her licensed and it came back suspended. She started crying and I saw why, she had her new born baby in the back seat and she thought I was going to take her in, which I could have. I let her go, I could tell she was just getting off work, she was relieved and she probably was barely getting by and couldn't afford to pay her tickets. I handed her my business card and to contact me if she gets stopped in the area.

I've watched this at least 50 times over the last 5 years. Every single time it hits different. My life has gone from ultimate highs to rock bottom but this still makes me... feel. In darkness I've watched. In light I've conversed and shared. Nothing but beautiful.

Being human means accepting that we're fucked up, broken, finite creatures. It means accepting that we are naked and weak and fragile whilst alone; it also means realizing that it doesn't have to be that way. Alone, you are the tears that water weeds of desperation, but together, together we are rain. Together we are a torrential downpour of life, we are storms of kindness, we are lightning flashing across the void that declares "we will burn bright no matter this darkness." Being human is not a compliment. It means coming to terms with your own hubris; it means swallowing a belief in self-importance. It means accepting that by yourself, you are nothing. But together, united in the pursuit of something better, my dear, being human is everything.

Knowing how the world can be full of crap and deceit but, not forgetting that the 'crap' or 'The bad,' is just one side of the coin, is a big thing. If you realize that much, then you know that you can wake up tomorrow, and try again. *This song, this video strikes something damn near heart.*

I wanted to comment this just to get it out of my head. I have recently moved to a whole new city. I think the adjustment has been bigger than I actually know. When I first got here I was very excited and filled with energy to be the person I know I am inside. My initial rush of excitement is now gone and I am left grasping for those feelings, wanting them to come back. I feel lonely, I feel scared, I feel like I have lost my power and my purpose.. or at least the vision of my purpose. I feel in a way defeated... For the past few days this video has been popping up on my recommended timeline and my Watch It Again feed, the universe has been sending me a reminder. So, after revisiting this video finally I have come to the conclusion that tomorrow morning - I am going to open my eyes and I am going to fight like hell. Just because I feel like this now does not mean I will always feel like this and I believe that it is IN these moments that we become who we truly are. I am scared.. But I am making a promise to the person reading this right now that I will keep fighting to *be the change I wish to see in the world*. Peace and love everybody

I could never address how much I appreciate this video. I was at my rock bottom in 2018 and I came across this,. Sometimes I feel so lost because I see every other person moving forward, and I thought for awhile that I was never going to move forward, but with songs like this, with art, and people that also like this type of stuff, and I feel less alone, I feel powerful in a way. Sometimes things are scary, but I hold on to the things that give hope and love and it motivates me to move forward and continue my little adventure. To anyone feeling stagnant at the moment, don't worry you are doing amazing, you aren't being stagnant, you are just going slowly and that is still amazing, and if things don't turn out the way you hoped, don't give up, you can do it.

I discovered this song at the lowest point of my life. I was underemployed and struggling to find work. I was also in love with someone special to me. I moved to San Diego and started over my life. I still struggled with depression. I felt the broad spectrum of emotions for the first time in my life. It made me realise I was human.

As I enter into my 70's I realize more and more how our society, our culture, our values, goals, aspirations have been a road to emptiness. The dominant culture has served no-one well. this reminds me of that time my dad was going through a heart surgery at 2 am and all i see is four white walls, two green couches and dim lights above me. Some nurses walking by as I try not to cry. Mum had finally been able to fall asleep after a month and a half of endless crying in the darkness. Dad survived. He killed the cancer. But God still chose to take him away.

I'm a 52-year-old divorcing father of three adult children, and I'm certain I'm not Oh Wonder's main target demographic. But I've watched this video more often than most the past 4 years since I've discovered it. I've posted it several times, and most of my friends probably don't take 8 minutes from their day to watch it. We're all too busy trying to catch up, keep up, or get ahead. That’s "All We Do". But there are few videos, be they written, spoken, sung - be they musical, spiritual, or motivational - that have the deep and profound wisdom as this, without coming off as preaching or rehearsed. So, thank you, Oh Wonder. You have created art that has affected many people, and each of us is capable of reaching at least 100 people in our lives, and in that sense, none of us are too far from 1,000,000 people. So, I hope we can enact that change, because..."uplifting somebody - that's what the human life is supposed to be about - uplifting somebody."
