The percussion section always think they’re the superstars and drown the band out makes it hard to listen to. It’s already in a gym which is not the best setting which means the percussion should be playing even softer you are the accompaniment which is the support not the main dish guys🤷🏽‍♀️

Motor City sounds good. OMB percussion needs to bring it down a bit. It seems like they are in competition with the rest of the band.

It finally happened

This summer battle was intriguing. Omb I like they style a little better with respect to how they blend; but mcf is more powerful and colorful and grab your attention better. They both arrange to they capabilities. To me I can make an argument for both sides. I do think if mcf had omb numbers it would be no question….

I won’t critique too deep. Motor City’s mellos, trombones, and baritones out played Ohio’s.

Motor City got the W in my opinion. Size does not always matter. They came together with a more unified sound especially by the second half of the battle

Attention drummers ‼️ You are in a gym, you DO NOT have to play so loud. You have a drum, the sound will carry and do justice. Playing like that in a gym will lead to drowning out the band, tempo issues, confusion and an AUTOMATIC L for that round 🤣You’re hurting your band. Giving the fact that most of the members on both sides have played at a collegiate level.
