Ohio and Michigan played in the 2021 Little League World Series Championship Game.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for a place that can educate you with commentary on top of high quality edits, this is the place for you! I’ve covered Baseball (MLB, NCAA, LLWS), Football (NFL, NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), Softball (NCAA), and much more!
I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

@@ppumpkin3282 I think its a lot to do with how the catcher for michigan was setting up. You could see that his stance was off to one side, and then the ball went center mass. So even though center mass was off the strike zone, the ump still saw it as if it were down the middle. As opposed to ohio’s catcher whose stance was more traditional, which shrunk the strike zone compared to michigans

Brutal is accurate. The entire series has been so poorly called it's painful to watch. Maybe it's a deliberate effort to keep the games competitive but it's not right and accounts for the very low scoring games this past week.

I agree with the comments about the umpire behind the plate for this game. He called kids out on pitches they could not have reached unless they stepped in the other batters box. However, I thought the umpire that worked the Mich/ Hawaii game was superb. I don't think he missed more than 1 or 2 pitches the entire game. I understand they are volunteers, but this is still their responsibility to do the job correctly or let someone else get the spotlight. I'd be happy do go to Williamsport and work the game. After watching these highlights im convinced the ump was having trouble seeing. His balls and strikes were wildly inconsistent. He called a player safe on 3rd that was quite clearly sliding into a glove. Such a shame these young kids from Michigan will hear more about the ump than there performance.

@@LastElysiumRS wrong.... first these kids can pitch. Second... yes LLWS strike needs to be generous but strike calls so far outside that they are in the opposite batters box is ridiculous. Third, the calls seem to be totally situational. When Ohio had bases loaded with no outs the next two batters were called out on some very wide strikes. Next inning with nobody on better pitches were called balls. .

Atrocious - You got that right. Ohio got robbed. Looked like they were getting robbed in the previous game but they overcame that. Not this time. Great defense otherwise. My team lost in regionals so I just want to see a fair fight - that home plate ump needs to see the strike zone. I would question Ohio's batting order - you left at least 10 kids on base. I don't know where they get these umps but the kids deserve much better throughout the tournament.

No one said the ump did . But the ump did back to back at bats call literal balls strikes . There’s no it’s little league swing the bat , the game of baseball is making the pitcher throw you strikes and he didn’t yet the umpire gave it to him .
