The death of Rangers FC was embarrassing but the 180 degree turnaround from the Rangers fans from, I would say fighting desperately to save their club, but that is what Celtic, Hearts and Motherwell fans did to ensure their club's survival, so it's best described as hanging grafitti'd bedsheets and waving wee red cards ('Say No To Liquidation' because we want to keep our tens of millions of debt?) to, once you surrendered to HMRC and the Queen, swallowing Charles Green's wee tea cups of Kool-Aid outside Ibrokes Stadium as he began to extract tens of millions from you all, well, that was more embarrassing than losing your club. Grown men from eighteen to ninety five years old all trying to pretend that all the vast amounts of court cases and media coverage was all just because a wee company was about to have an end date put next to its name on Companies House. I love how the name of that company was changed away to try and bury the reality the same way you all pathetically try to do, but that wee date of incorporation can't be changed, 27th May 1899, the day Rangers FC was granted legal personality and liability in accordance with the Companies Act, a requirement of the Bible of our game, the Articles of Association of the SFA. Isn't it funny that Sir Steals-On-Wheels didn't think to throw away this company so readily when it had debts of over £80 million in the early 1990s? Why do you think that this 'great' businessman continued to handicap the club's ability to buy new players, choosing instead to pay huge amounts of interest on this debt? Couldn't a wee working class man from Govan - let's pretend he's called Billy - have walked up to Ibrox and told this multi millionaire businessman that he was making a mistake, that he should simply liquidate Rangers FC as it was only a company and that the club itself was protected by everlasting life not offered to any other club on the planet because "We aaaarrrrraaaa Peeeeeeepiiiiiiiiiiillllllllll!!!!"? The problems with the club are obvious -- and have been for a few years! Dreadful mistakes by the board in their selection of manager (a former youth coach with no experience), and an amateur approach to structuring the recruitment process, and inadequate selection of players! Beale should be no where near this selection process. But a quality head of football and recruitment should be the one to decide on investment in players. Stop making the same excuses for our weaknesses and general incompetence! Look across the city. Celtic are bringing in young, hungry and talented players who are ambitious, and they have the quality to do the job they're being paid to do: Hatate, Kyogo, O'Riley, Jota, Abada, etc. This club has none of that. But we do have Dessers, Danillo, Lammers and a lot of other unwanted players by former clubs. Choice of manager and, significantly, a professional recruitment process which identifies real quality, is key. Not the same old song about a "poor Celtic team". This Celtic team are without their main two central defenders from last year. They're also missing, who is, arguably, their best player in Hatate. Yet still they enjoyed almost 80% possession in the first half. Stop whinging on a stack of excuses! The blame lies inside the club and in the way it is being managed!

I thought 3 or 4 nil to Rangers. I felt Celtic had been cheap and complacent in the transfer window. I felt a lack of ambition. The team came together and delivered beyond expectations. Tavernier aside, Rangers are average. McGregor was superior to Butland. Fredo is missed. Kent was missed. This was an opportunity missed. But champions showed why they are champions.

As a Celtic fan, both teams were very poor which does not bode well for Europe. However rangers do have a good squad and Beale demonstrated last season he can get consistent wins in the league. I doubt he will be sacked not should he be at this stage. I do agree however he should have joined the players and applauded the fans. Rangers and Celtic fans give everything to their clubs and that was disrespectful. Good luck for the rest of the season.

There was only one woeful team there and it was sevco. Lost count how many long balls went over the top we at least tried to pass it about. That walk around the pitch at the end for your players was probably one of the worst moments in their careers.. some fan base you lot a complete embarrassment
