before I dye my hair I put coconut oil all round my face and my ears and my neck that way if hair dye gets on it wipes off easily with the coconut oil and i use a baby wipe to wipe the color and oil off of my face and ears

Idk if u use this or not already, but it's good for your hair as well as your skin to have a silk or satin pillow case instead of cotton. It will help u not have frizzy hair and breakage. Also helps with preventing wrinkles lol. Also, a really good tip is so dry your hair with a cotton cloth. Like an old tshirt instead of a towel. It does wonders on frizz when drying your hair. They also sell those hair drying turbans that are made of cotton. Thats wht I use. And I highly suggest.

I used this hair dye a few months ago and I had so much fall out 😭😭😭 I only left it in for 30 minutes!! It was my first time dying my hair. But my hair is back to healthy & thick ! I am now using Olia hair dye. Its supppper black & my hair doesn't fall out by it.

So the Brazilian leave in treatment is discontinued now , why you couldn’t find it in store anymore but another leave in treatment I recommend from Sally’s is the Roux keratin leave in ! It’s wonderful ! :) (I work there )

I always remove the hair dye stains of my skin with some scrub, the best is to remove it immediately, otherwise it would be possible that it only fades away and you have to do it multiple times. I really like using bodyscrub since it makes my skin really soft and clean, definitely a good option, I hope this will help some of you ❤️

There’s A product sold at Sallys called “clean touch “ its really good, it’s a hair color stain remover 👍🏽

I have curly hair and I use the ION brand from Sally's when I dye my hair. I had seen something that said you could add argan oil to your dye to help protect it. I discussed this with the sales clerk and she directed me to the ION brand keratin smoothing oil. She said it would do the same thing and cost less. I bought it and added it to the dye. Well, I straightened my hair to make sure I dyed my hair evenly and by doing that I killed my curls. I ended up with incredibly shiny hair, minimal frizz which was awesome, super soft hair, but no curls. My hair straightened faster because the texture was basically gone. A stylist I know asked me about my hair because it was super straight and shiny with no flyaways. I explained what I did and she said by using the flat iron immediately after dyeing my hair I had likely activated the keratin and gave myself a Brazilian blowout lol. I used the keratin method for a while until I missed my curls and then I had to retrain my hair to curl again. 🤷‍♀️

I also love very black hair! I dye mines by making a high loose pony tail and with plastic bottle full of my hair dye i use the tip to go in lines allover and simply add the rest on the tail..i find it very helpful and less messy.☺

Your curly hair is more beautiful than it straightened.

To remove dye just put dish soap on ur stained skin and let it sit for like 3 to 5 Minutes and wash and scrub away

I died my hair black for over 8 years, I have naturally blonde hair. A little tip that I noticed for stains on your skin was using conditioner to rub it off, it works for me. Also if you get any dye stains on your bathroom clorox toilet bowl cleaner gets it off pronto. (These methods work/worked for me)

Moroccan oil treatment ..... you can use it on wet and dry hair and it smells delicious. Makes hair Super shiny

You should focus the dye on the roots because thats where the hair grows from so it will be your natural color or gray. And color removes color. Use more hair color to remove any stains on skin, sounds odd but it works

I also dye my hair pretty dark cause of my canas 😒 but no biggie I just dye them 😂 also noticed that the darker shades make the hair look healthier just my opinion, still love your nails 💅💜

I love my super long blue black hair. I love loreal superior preference 2bl black sapphire . Its strong enough to cover greys but washes out after 2 1/2 weeks if you have white/grey. To lift stains i use roux clean touch . I get a cotton pad and put a couple squirts then use it all around where i have stains.. dont forget the ears! it works very well. I believe I bought it on Amazon. I also bought a shoulder cape at Sally's. I was sick of drippings all over my back and shoulders. I section my hair into clips that can be bought at sallys/Walmart has them too. I highly reccomend getting a brush with a "needle" pic at the end. So much easier to section off . I use the same scrunchie to pull the whole mess in a bun on top of my head. Don't forget to put Vaseline around your hairline but not in hair it helps alot too. Especially the back of the ears . Mine burn if I get color on them.

Dishwashing liquid soap can remove they dye from the skin. I heard Dawn brand dish soap is good but I used Joy because that is the brand I buy and it worked fine.

This probably isn’t super great to put on ur skin but I use nail polish remover to get the black dye off. It works really well lol.

I use African Pride Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Growth oil and Shea Moisture products for my curly hair. Both smell so good!

I normally put vaseline on my skin where I know the paint will touch, before dying. Then wash right away whatever wasn't protected by vaseline
