Mike Tyson and Luis Suarez are exceptional athletes with difficult childhoods and both have had biting incidents. Both outgrew this and have moved on. But it's inportant to admit a problem first. Imagine if Suarez hadn't become a wealthy and famous footballer, his anger might have gotten him killed. Tyson definitely would have been here in the gun-happy US. Noone would have cared to help them with their issues because mental health isn't important to too many people, especially for poor people. I'd hated Suarez for a long time afterso many issues that he's been the center of, but I've since grown to respect his growth and acceptance of his past and his ability to change. He's a success story for anyone who's had issues with anger or personality issues and are trying to change.

Dude, it was a pretty messed up thing him biting people. And the Chiellini one was mild. Go watch the one in Ajax, THAT is f*cked up, the guy looked straight like a vampire. He is also a rather dirty player tbh, but that's part of the game, so no hate from me on that front.

@@guille3622 I have seen headbutts, kick to the groin, straight up fights with a puch to the face. I have NEVER seen a player bite another in a football game. And if you were referring to em saying he is a dirty player, well, he is. Nothing more to say on that regard. There are others worse? Sure. Is he "demonized" for it. No, stop being so dramatic.

Of course, when you see the media chasing someone who's done purposely a kick to the groin, rather than when Suarez has done something he could be canceled for? And regarding "dirty", well, it's a physical contact sport...

I'm not "horrified" by it, I just think he was crazy, literally, not figuratively. He had a loose screw. Good for him for working on it. Also, all the kicks and remaining shit I have seen can be explained by the "physical contact sport" you yourself just pointed out. And never before or since anyone else has bitten someone. I kinda feel bad for him. Because yes it’s outragous, but he seems like he really doesn’t want to do it and he’s probably an otherwise nice guy. He has an incredible talent but it gets overshadowed because of the incidents.

_FIFA is so corrupted that they allowed him to do it twice, first time should have been a small fine for injuring a player, second time should have been a historic fine of $250,000, but I guess being suspended for months and not getting paid is a much more harsh punishment._
