Manchester United had one of the biggest tragedy in football when United's plane with their 1st team on-board crashed in Munich. They had the best players and Youngsters in the world at that time. Many lost their lives. They got relegated. But they bounced back and won the UEFA champions leagues in very little time. They are the first English team to win UCL (European cup).

After all this time always ( I am a united fan I know they are going in a bad phase since Fergie left but I am very loyal towards the club and will take the defeats and Wins humbly without harming any other persons other club ideal and his admiration

Very tragic indeed, but compared to FC Torino, Man United had it better tbf. Torino, unlike now, were beasts and one of the masters of Italian football back in the day, but Torino's plane crash in 1949, alongside some financial problems that followed, is literally the reason why they aren't as competitive since.

@@rakhibisht9324 Once you support a club you're all in for the good times and the bad. I'm Arsenal BTW, United will get back sooner or later because their scale is big. We had 2 years finishing 8th but are getting better, United need a clear out and not only in players but wider management, the club's become nought more than a friendly place for ex-players to nostalgically relive past glories and whine how young un's today are not like back when they were nippers. United need to clean out the influence that ex-players have in the club because they just undermine the current squad, but the wider management let them so they need to purged and made professional again.

Zenit have won 8 russian titles, uefa cup, uefa super cup & managed to making it to round of 16 of ucl. they have been relegated from russian top league in 1992 which was first edition of russian league. It took them 4 seasons to return to top level.

@@anamitrasikdar9115 Everton had 2 decent seasons in the mid to late 80’s one in the 60’s and before that it’s was the 30’s they’ve never been a giant as such, Hamburg were European champions and had a Balon D’or winner join them from the most successful club of the 70’s there’s levels and neverton are below what most class as a one time or current giant

@@timsmith1323 The Two seasons in 1980s when Everton won the first division they were unable to participate in any European competition due to the ban imposed on English Teams because of the Heysel Stadium Disaster. Nobody knows what the outcome could have been had English teams been able to participate in Europe. Everton had a very strong side during that time could have won a European Cup.

3:36 should've mentioned how OM's match fixing at the very least indirectly aided them in winning the UCL, multiple clubs have stated they were approached by Tapie (OM's prez at the time) to throw matches, including Rangers who OM narrowly beat to make the final the season they won. OM's sporting director said in court they would fix about five or six matches in the average season. Not to mention their longtime captain Eydelie admitted to "being given suspicious injections" by the OM medical team leading up to the UCL final. Tapie had a separate club bank account specifically to handle the illegal dealings of the club, laughable that the trophy wasn't awarded to Milan as the scandal was blown open just two weeks after the final was played
