I remember 2006 WC. It seemed like buffon would save anything including a penalty from anybody, I repeat ANYBODY. Then I saw the panenka from zidane, which rebounded from top post and went into goal. At that moment I thought, that's the only way to beat buffon and only zizou knew the secret. I have seen the finest arts by absolute legends! My life was complete.

R9 wtf you talking about. Zidane is french, he’s a french citizen. He was raised there, and trained there. The same goes for all the 2018 players. Just because some of them has a darker skin color or that their origins are african doesn’t mean that they aren’t french. Doesn’t seem like you know what it means to be citizen of a country! They are all proud of wearing the blue jersey and representing their country! And what? Match fixing? Did you even see how well the french team played? It was obvious that they won because of talent. They had it coming, they played very well in the 2014 world cup and 2016 european cup. No other country in the world has as many talented players on the pitch and on the bench. Griezmann, Mbappé, Pogba, Kanté, Varane, Matuidi, Dembele, Giroud to name a few. And about the match against Brazil: well, it never existed. That just proves more that you don’t know what you’re talking about. It was Belgium who won against Brazil...

Zidane didn't have a sad end to his career, that headbutt was an extraordinary end to his career and he already won the World Cup in 1998 so there can be no regrets.

What? You're telling me he shouldn't have denounced Zidane after what he had done to one of his teammates? Zidane snapped, he deserved the red card and Buffon saw everything. Why not telling the referees what he saw? This has nothing to do with fair play, of which Buffon cannot be considered a champion anyway. It's about justice. The French screwed up and he paid for it.
