How I feel about Deep Purple. Went to see them with Judas Priest, was so blowed away by them, I bought 6 more tickets to another show, flew 800 miles to take my kids and grandson to see that fabulous show again. Mind blowing. Perfect Strangers is my favorite. Highway Star, Space Truckin, Knockin on Your Back Door, Child In Time, so so many great classics.

When Singer David Cloverdale left DP he formed Whitesnake who were originally a soulful kick ass blues rock band before he jumped on the hairband bandwagon(with all new members). Check out the song " Northwinds" . Probably one of my fav songs period! Numero Uno!!

Love everything David Coverdale does. When he left & started Whitesnake. Wow! Love love love them! Still are fabulous in concert! So many fabulous song & not only the "here I go again" that most know them by. "Slide it in" album is fabulous.

Great ballad. Ritchie Blackmore is such a great guitarist and songwriter and Coverdale's voice is a perfect fit here.

I discovered Deep Purple by accident at a disco around 1974 when I was 15. There was a Radio One DJ hosting the music, Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart. I won some silly competition (probably dancing), and my prize was a copy of Deep Purple's 'Stormbringer' album (where this song comes from). I can see it now in my mind's eye, with it's purple label with the words 'Factory Sample - Not for Resale' on it. I loved that album and I still have it somewhere ........... I also still dance the same way now (terribly).

Perhaps the most famous song from the album "Stormbringer", and a reference to Don Quixote fighting the windmills. Story has it that when the singer David Coverdale was doing this song in the studio, Stevie Wonder dropped by. Hearing some noise Coverdale would have yelled "Whoever it is there, f *** off ! " , feeling rather uneasy after hearing who it was. Don't know if it is true story or not.

I first heard this song in 1978, it brought tears to my eyes on the first play. I listen to it at least once a month and like it even more now, so many years later. A great band and a great song.

May I introduce you to the voice of David Coverdale. The lead singer of Purple at the time this is recorded. He went on to start the band Whitesnake. Their best work was their early work late 70s to mid 80s very bluesy then they got caught up in the late 80s hair band sound which was good but not as good as early stuff in my opinion

Is now more relevant than ever to spread this words of peace. It's the final performance in the The Voice Kids Ukraine 4th season 2017. She barely keeps tears at bay when she sings and is really shaken during the final comments as the spectators and the judges.
