Nothing against bergerons offensive game but if you had stamkos and Point as your primary centers you're going to eat. That being said id still give it to Kucherov but it is close ish

Slight correction because he wasn't. He was the only one to win it on the losing team, based off his play in the *FINAL* A total of 5 players so far have won on the losing team

Thanks for mentioning Robert Thomas. Made the roster draft +1, helped win the cup in his rookie year. Continues to improve, plays both power play and penalty kill. While hitting point per game mark.

Wyatt Johnson is amazing and will be great player for a long time. but after watching Boeser this season he was defiantly better offensively and he was a defensive beast doing all the little things

Cmon, Reggie Leach won it with Philly in 76 when the Habs beat us Edit: Leach also led the league in goals that year with 61, the only Flyer to score 60+ goals and lead the NHL in goals.

I know McDavid is the greatest player in the game today; however, I feel that Sidney Crosby does deserve an honorable mention due to the fact that he had an unreal season at the age of 36. I am genuinely curious to see how McDavid's game ages compared to Sid's.

@@hockey_all_star5895 The list is a subjective list of who the best player from this year drafted between 1-32. You can make an argument for any player who was drafted in those positions that played this season. I'm a Penguins fan, so I would say Sidney Crosby would be my choice at #1, based on the fact that he had a remarkable season for a player at 36 years old. McDavid is the consensus #1, but I'd agree a case could be made for Matthews as well.
