I’ve been sailing most of my life but the skills of These Sailors never ceases to amaze me! One of our favorite vacations with our young son was renting a car and traveling to several Greek islands with these Highly Professional Ferry Pilots and their Amazing Crews. Much Love to Greece, we Miss visiting 🇺🇸❣️🇬🇷🛳️

You should see this elegant ferry boat entering Kavala΄s port at 7-8 gail force using the same technique! Just amazing!!! Hats off , captain Diamantis!!!

As I was a captain of cargo ships. This is great ship's handling and maneuvering. The pilot and captain are professional.

Because of Greek flag in a grrek port there was only the captain without pilot (passenger ships and commercial ships under 100 meters )

Aegean, Ionian and the whole HELLENIC Sea water has already the blood from our dead heroes, since Persian wars to 1821 Revolution, and WW2..Yes Greek navy and air force stuff is the best

00:32 drops anchor, then hauls the bow around with it for the whole rest of the turn

The Captain of Hellenic Seaways is worth their weight in gold. Controlling that ship like driving a VW bug. I 'd trust that Captain in charge of any large vessel. Good work!

Precision mooring is something to watch. We perfected the Med Moor in Naples Italy in a 648’ US Navy ship. Circa 1984.

ο Κάπτεν Κ.ΑΡΒΑΝΙΤΗΣ το ΑΡΙΆΔΝΗ το που είναι μεγαλύτερο σε μήκος και λίγο μικρότερο σε πλάτος από το Ν.ΡΟΔΟΣ το βάζει με απόσταση από την ακτή 10εκ αυτή είναι μανούβρα

Well done captain! Built in 1980, so probably has propellers, not pods. When I learned boat handling, first lesson from an old hand w as..."never be afraid to use lots of power!"

Απ ότι λένε οι καπετάνιοι που κάνουν τη γραμμή με Σάμος και Ρόδος, σε εκείνο το σημείο έχει μεγάλο βαθμό δυσκολίας. Μεγάλα καράβια μονοτιμονα, έχουν το δικαίωμα να ζητήσουν να φύγει το άλλο πλοίο από κει. Μερικές φορές ο καιρός δεν βοηθάει να πραγματοποιηθεί εκεί πέρα. Καλές θάλασσες...
