The Edmonton Oilers trailed the Florida Panthers 3-0 in the series. The entire world, including myself thought that the Oilers were completely dead.
Connor McDavid and his Oilers teammates had some other ideas.
The Oilers defeated the Panthers by a score of 5-3 in Game 5, forcing a Game 6 in Edmonton!
Connor McDavid successfully "dragged them back to Alberta."

As a Canadian that’s been a devils fan since I was like 4 (25 now) I don’t wanna see Edmonton win at all 🤣. I love Henrique but I don’t have the same feelings for him as other fans do. He scored a big goal vs the rangers but never won us a cup. We traded him for vatanen. I’m not emotionally attached to him. I’m attached to guys like Jeff Friesen. Guys that actually won us it all. Love the video man. Definitely one of my favourite channels to watch on KZfaq. Can’t wait for us to get hockey back. LGD 😈

@GemCardCollecting Henrique will always be high on my list for that goal. If you lived through the painful losses to the Rangers in earlier Playoff matchups you may have felt the same. That goal is one of the biggest in franchise history. It is a shame that the 2012 squad fell short against the Kings. I love Jeff Friesen and the rest of the 2003 New Jersey Devils. Nice to see speed and special teams overcome physicality. 44 to 16 in hits for Fla in that game. Edm is a good template for NJ.

@JerziBoi76 the more time goes on, the more evident it becomes of just how MUCH of an absolute legend Scott Stevens was. We always knew it. But as the years go by, it sinks in a bit more. Those McDavid dangles are NEVER happening on the ice when #4 is patrolling the blue line!

That was one hell of a game. So it seems the Oilers knocked the Panthers off their game in game 4, and also with the 3-0 lead in game 5. But the Panthers found their identity again in their heavy forecheck so hopefully in game 6 we have two teams on their game. The problem is Bobrovsky now, he looks a little leaky. Also Panthers taking way too many penalties and the Oilers power play looks really dangerous again so they need to stay out of the box if they don't want to die. *edit -McDavid is just disgusting and a joy to watch

Panthers did it to themselves, way too many penalties. Panthers could have wrapped it up last night if not for that. Still think Panthers can end it in 6 but I'm sure Maurice gave them the works after that game. Even it goes 7 my $ is still on Father's. Mad pops for Tkachuk, he was giving it all last night down to the last second with that empty net save. Incredible. Regardless, we get more hockey to watch which I'm fine with.

What LOOOL?? To many penalties ,you mean how the refs literally let Florida get away with how many uncalled penalties?? Was the Oilers who took a penalty and then scored on a short handed goal.

Hey runnin ace remember 2012? We were down 3-0 to the kings and we fought all the way back to 3-2 deficit. I wasn’t a devils fan back then but we were in the same position as the oilers and then we shut off. Why? Because idk. But the oilers I think will try something different and end up shutting off and Florida will win the cup. I want Florida to win the cup bc they never won it before and Edmonton has.

@AlexanderAntonelli-gb3dm Oh I remember it well. I went to all of the Devils home Cup Finals games. It is a shame we couldn't find a way to win Game 1 or 2 at home. (lost both in overtime) Game 5 was a beautiful win which gave us hope after they cut it to 3-2.

@@bted yea i only finished first grade at the time didn’t become a devils fan until 2017 bc the show boomer and carton showed a New Jersey team win the last night and my dad ended up putting on that game against Montreal and then I fell in love with the team
