Arrangée par Jonathan Dagenais et interprétée par l'Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo. Extrait du CD du concert Évolution à la salle Raoul-Jobin du Palais Montcalm à Québec le samedi 4 mars 2017.

I swear the Mario 2 theme is just PERFECT for live covers. Jazz, swing, big band, it all sounds awesome.

The only one I've heard that comes close is a chiptune exotica version by jm1233. It's got a bit of a rough start, but really takes off 26 seconds in.

In the mashup at the end AFTER MegaMan 2, there's a subtle reference to Super Castlevania IV (Dance of the Holyman)

Great production as usual, but extra major props for the stylistic embellishments! E.g. many orchestras etc. have covered the Tetris theme, but this arrangement colorizes it like I've never heard before. Never stop!

Our conductor (who is also the one who has written this piece) is a big fan of Pong! That was actually an inside joke in the orchestra, that we could never play Pong! We can now say that we have!
