lots of software glitches are being reported by the current users. I am surprised that it is taking this long for a software patch to fix the low hanging issues.

Ineos should have an option for a lift kit & 35's. I bet it would be a big hit with the off roading/over landing fans.
@mandersen5 ай бұрын
I love this setup. Any chance you could measure the overall height with the new lift and tires?
@ok4wd4 ай бұрын
The tires add 1/2” and the springs added another 1/2-1”. We shared the total height of the truck with the tent in the comments on the first Grenadier video.

Awesome, thanks! So roughly a 3" tire difference from the stock 31"s only added 1/2"? How sad :( @@ok4wd

Did you upgrade the spare tire size as well? If so, does it fit without causing issues opening the rear door?

We did. I just cleared the ladder. Any tire size larger would certainly interfere with opening the rear door.

Our build and how we plan on using the vehicle doesn't require long travel suspension. The brake lines are plenty long for the amount of height we added, only about 2-2.5 inches.

The Eibach springs are taller springs than the factory springs.

@@ok4wd I had only heard about higher weight rated springs which should compress to normal ride height with more weight on them. Anyway, great video and loved the detailed walkthrough.

I would buy one today, but Ineos does not and has no plans to offer a technical service manual. So when you’re 300 miles out in the middle of nowhere and you break something I guess you’re supposed to call their service department for a tow? Ridiculous!
@gws-17764 ай бұрын
It wasn’t overland ready from the factory? I sometimes wonder if channels do a cost analysis and say, if I spend $20k on an ‘upgrade’ video will I get enough clicks to pay for it?

Less room for accidents plus the install is straightforward enough on a lift to do this.

So you took an awesome factory ready overland vehicle, did not really use it, but 'upgraded' it by bolting on stuff and deem it 'better' - what a dud approach.
