it's actually incredibly heartwarming to me that they basically completely redid the kd stage just to include hyunjin they rly are a family and wanted him to have that winning moment w them

They didn't redo it to include him. They created the stage with his part in place, and just had Han, Felix, and Lee Know cover those parts until he could be included.

@@zcst4eva ur right, parts were always left open for his inclusion later, but i just meant it was nice to actually see it happen the way it should've from the start - by redo, i meant literally do the stage again when they didnt have to, but obviously wanted to perform wolfgang the way it was meant to be done since the beginning. sorry if somehow my comment came off wrong.

As much as we were robbed of Hyunjin in Kingdom, Hyunjin was robbed of the opportunity to be in it and that's the sad part. He would have killed it. Seeing this performance with him is retribution, it's 10 times better than the Kingdom performance. I feel like they went so much harder in this performance. When I first heard Wolfgang, I had a feeling that one of Han's verses was meant for Hyunjin and if they were going to put it on the album it would have him singing on it. I was so happy when I heard him! I'm glad you reacted to this, I loved your face when you saw Hyunjin!

necro replying on this post cause it's been a year but I honestly feel like the bullying rumors were started to pull him out of Kingdom. BECAUSE he was an immediate threat.

One of the most heartbreaking feelings is knowing how excited Hyunjin was to be apart of Kingdom, like he was always expressing it on socials and etc. When it all went down I was so pissed and crying at the same time like I love this man so much and he deserved to be on those stages with his members.

This was part of the "Kingdomweek", there were 2 introduction episodes of clips behind the scenes from kingdom, then 5 episodes of a "reality show" and this was the last one, they did a Comeback stage with "thunderous", presented "the view", "Wolfgang", and they sang "grow up" where some Stays did a surprise for them with video messages. All that week was beautiful 🫂💕

OT8 Wolfgang is something we definitely needed. I was just slightly sad about the Han part because it was my favourite ... But Hyunjin fits into it so well ... I also frigging LOVE the capes they used this time around. It elevated everything... But yeah, just seeing Hyunjin where he belongs makea me really happy. Also. His performance in The View was absolutely phenomenal!

That's how I felt about Felix centre for the dance break but the choreo suited Hyunjin just as well as it suited Felix and they both did a great job.

yess this was for kingdom week :) they had a whole series and more performances tho, Wolfgang ot8 is all stay needed, it’s just fair! Hyunjin’s presence is everything

I implore you to rewatch the original wolfgang and notice the part where they climb on the backs of the other "wolves". They left a spot open so seeing the OT8 even without Chans Chest was so worth it to see all 8 climb up on the wolves and jump off.

In the Kingdom performance Han Lip-sings Hyunjin’s part then you can hear when it gets to his part and he starts actually singing/ rapping. He didn’t want to do Hyunjin’s part. ❤️

I’m not even gonna lie to you.. I mean, I knew Hyunjin was gonna be in the song, so when I listened to the album and then to Wolfgang, I knew he had to have a part, BUT… and I’m not exaggerating, when he came on I literally rolled over the floor in my living room. The “We go hard. Let’s go get them” part which Han rapped originally is my fav part of the song and then my fav boy Hyunjin got to do it. I’m not even over it yet.. and he absolutely killed this performance.

I totally get what you mean with the kingdom performances, they were amazing but all of them are missing a vital part of stray kids and I don't think any of us will ever be able to get totally over it if I'm being honest. That's why the I'll be your man performance is one of the fandom's favorites, I think, because even if Hyunjin was not there himself, his presence was incorporated into it!

thank you love this reaction. i am so glad they gave Hyunjin a part in wolfgang. I think if Stray Kids had Hyunjin and Ateez had Mingi Kingdom would have been very different in the performances. But it is what it is and we can appreciate that Hyunjin got to take his rightful place in this song. Yes Stray Kids got a week reality show on MNET for winning Kingdom and I think the week was during there comeback week.

yeah this is what they got in reward for winning kingdom :) from the tuesday before before comeback all the way to comeback day they had a like reality show thing and this was the comeback showcase which was the last episode !!
