If my Sims don't roll wants for a job, but that they want to earn money (I exempt Sims who can give financial advice) I select a job that goes with their LTW.

Lazy duchess made a story progression mod similar to sims 3 story progression so you do not need to play every townie. It has the option to turn it off and on for households too. I play with it, and it adds a lot to the game!

On the Allen thing, there’s three versions of him but OG Ken’s Buddy™️ is the only Alan in the movie. But there’s also Wedding Day Alan and Happy Family Alan. I had a happy family Alan and took him and Midge with me everywhere. He’s such an expensive doll to replace tho because of his wife being discontinued and him really only being in a set with her or Ken.

that thing where you were not being able to clean up plates is just a weird glitch i'm pretty sure, i've had it before too. resetting the sim should fix it. oh and i love this series sm

ahh love this strangetown series so much! also, huge coincidence but the posters at 1:33:00 are from a mobile game called time princess. i randomly started playing it two days ago, i can't believe this sudden serendipity!! tried to look for it in the comments but i didn't see anyone mention it, haha. anyways love these, can't wait to binge your pleasantview series next!

Because she clicked 'make many' :D it's useful if you are running say a bakery and you want many layered cakes.
