All Minecrafters must start somewhere. In Okayu's case, fortunately for us, that somewhere was streamed and archived.
44. entire. minutes.
you don't simp like i do.
this isn't a translator channel, and i need way more practice with japanese to call myself one. if you spot a shoddy/mistranslation, help me out here. i'm an N5. i just wanted to try this out, and maybe add it to my mix of videos in the future. if you liked it, check out my others! i can guarantee you they're nowhere near as cleanly edited.

i didn't end the video like that to spite my viewers and make them cry. mainly. it's not supposed to be a depressing ending. realizing the transient beauty of the things we have here today is one of the most important things to do while we can. if, in any way i could let people understand that through this video, i'm honored to have made it. it's okay to have good times. some good times can only exist for a short time, though. so, while you can, keep your eyes on her.

That’s the truth though. None of the Hololive members are permanent presences. I have to say goodbye to my favorite Senchou Marine, Gura and Subaru as well one day. Despite being an introvert, my heart feels heavy knowing that they will graduate one day in the future. I definitely am going to treasure these moments. It will be like Unus Annus all over but it will hit much harder.

I'd say it's more likely something bad will happen with Hololive and the characters these streamers are known as will disappear since the company owns them. Multi channel networks haven't had the best track record and the industry is still very young. Realistically, Vtubers have a longer lifespan than regular human streamers since their physical appearance doesn't matter beneath the character. Many 70 year olds still sound like 20 year olds after all

If you came across the edited video where Okayu came back to the Hololive Japan server, she was alone. It felt like she was reminiscing although she came across new things at the same time. It’s an unintentional symbolism for me that, if such videos still stay in KZfaq, that’s among the only ways for us to remember our favorite Hololive members. So far, unlike past members, Kiryu Coco’s Twitter, Reddit and stream archives will remain. Whether she will reply in Twitter and Reddit or not, I am not sure. The irony. For me to be able to treasure such moments and not take things or people for granted is all thanks to Hololive. They filled the hollow part of my heart and give me enough motivation to live on through each day.

@@M4TTYN There actually was cause for legitimate worry, because there was a time when it looked like Microsoft was going to try to make things like DLC and the like. Thanks for the translation! 16:02 I've only seen Korone's chat do this, her humming the bgm is really cute. So happy to hear her talk about the Monogatari series though If you go far enough the comment section there'll be a short chain of "good for her". That last quote, yeah Vtubers and the ones I focus on will always have a special place in my mind.

funny story, the "good for her" comments started with my friends that i showed the video to, and for a while those were the only comments. i was legitimately terrified that the comments would only be that forever. i'm lucky to have gotten such heartfelt ones ever since.

@@backtracks Lmfao I doubt the chain would go on forever unless you purposely deleted the comments and left only the ones you wanted. Pretty nice story to know though.

What a wonderful video. Huge amount of content that is translated really well and editing shows how much you care too. Hats off to you. The world needs more translators like you. Thank you so much. KZfaq has only finally decided to show Okayu in my recommended tab this week and I'm loving her, can't believe it took so long, she's just my type of vtuber. Deep voice, chill but can joke around too, pleasant design too. I feel like your video showcased many sides of her personality and I'm grateful for that.

Bro I fall in to the VR World thanks to a clip of an ancient VR tuber who retires and, at the end of the her last stream she makes a mistake and say their clasic prhase wrong, afther that, she cuts the streams, but she forgett to end the audio, and she breaks and start crying so hard, bro not gona lie, in that moment I dont know her, also I dont know the VR World but I cried, bc I felt that lose, and afther that I Always thinks about the day when our precius hololive STARS, have to retire, and it makes me zad.. But still hoping that, before that day comes, im already have a lot of hours and hours of joy and happines and I have the courage to let them go....

Yeah Nobuhime was a treasure for sure, I fell down the Vtuber hole a month after her final stream and I still felt sad after seeing the translated version It is inevitable that our favourite vtubers will disappear one day, but let's be happy that these memories will last

I also remember that one... That made me cry... After watching her last stream months ago, I began treasuring all the VTubers I subscribed to and also others I find online. I've seen a couple of VTubers retired and I want them to continue but the world doesn't want to... Coz I'm never gonna forget them and I hope they'll never forget those fans who stayed with them all of those years...
