Where was it mentioned non-functional MD in the whole interview? The funny part of the whole issue is that most of u pple own zero businesses n hv absolutely no idea abt corporate n organizational structures yet go abt saying all sorts of nonsense. At the point of registration of a company, u need at least 2 directors and after dat, u r not under any obligation to be d one running the company. Dats why d company can hv a management board led by a CEO or MD to run it n d founders and/or shareholders who in dis case only act as visionaries. Bn shareholders makes dem ultimate beneficiaries no doubt but all wat Bryan is saying that, he's no an employee of the company so he's not breached any law since the running of the company doesn't affect his work as a minister of state or a public officer. Are you pple saying dat if u become a public officer, u can't own shares even if u r not working in dat organization?

If what Acheampong is saying is correct then it means the constitution needs to be changed. Who cares if you are not a manager at Rock City? You can use your influence as MP to add pressure on the transaction in your favour as you own Rock City irrelevant of whether you are a manager there and you dont salary. That is our worry as Ghanaians. I think Ablakwa raises very valid questions on this matter.

How can a whole minister buy a 60% of a state entity? This is pure strategy of NPP to steal more money. Away from this discussion, EC says registration kits have been stolen, and have auctioned only 10 or so of its verification devices to recycling company, and destroyed the rest- thousands… Does this tick the boxes for you?

In regard to the Kumasi matter you can see from Mr Ablakwa's arguments that he lacks experience in the real world. If you're selling your house, you get it evaluated and you get a price, but does not mean you will get that price when it comes to the actual sale.

As a Valuer myself, I understand that the valued property may not equate market value. However, here is the case where a sector minister has bought not just one, but several properties from a govt agency. The least he could have done was to pay the valued price. This is pure corruption and the reason Ghana is where it is today. Shameful

Without a shred doubt, Hon. Bryan Acheampong holds a political position, but to be fair enough his business ventures should be recognized and celebrated. It's so clear that Okudzeto objections stem from enviness and nothing more. Very baseless accusations. He should raise the bar.

How was SSB, GOPDC, the Catering Rest Houses, the Continental Hotel and others divested and to whom were they divested to. If the sales was to a foreigner, you will never hear anything about it. Ghana properties should be sold to Ghanaians. Jealousy is killing Poor people in Ghana 🇬🇭. J J Rawlings took properties from Ghanaians and sold it to foreigners. The more billionaires in Ghana the country succeed. Okudzeto only draws salary from the government . Brian Acheampong is investing his money and creating jobs.

You lack indepth understanding. Okudzeto is not fighting just another Ghanaian who has just bought a state property. He's fighting a whole cabinet minister with an insider information on these properties even before it came on the market. If you ever have an iota idea of ethics will tell you that what Bryan Acheampong is doing reeks of corruption. The whole process was done to alienate any other Ghanaian who may have been interested. You can't be in govt and still buy govt properties. Your ignorant self can't even see pass this simple issue of conflict of interest.

The fact that Bryan Acheampong is taking this so personally is a bit alarming….this is about the country and its people, not him and his reputation or lack thereof…just answer the questions and be clear about the plan and intent. That’s how you earn the trust of the PEOPLE…this is not about your friends. When it comes to the people you serve it is above your relationships. That’s how you maintain impartiality and trust…you shouldn’t be a shareholder in state affairs anyways! Terrible
