I did the same thing 2 years ago with the okuma Aventa vt1002 and caught a lot of coho and chinook salmon. These bearing work great and they are still working great.

You can push the bearings out with an appropriately sized socket to avoid putting too much pressure on one side.

I noticed there is a lip on the white spacer bushing’ how does that go back in?

God we have become so materialistic as humans...if our ancestors are watching they would be poking fun at us. We think too deeply about this shit..faster bearings catch you more fish etc...at the end of the day us dudes just love gear and we find every reason to justify buying it lol...but I dont think it helps us catch fish any better lol.
