No. The thing you need to watch out for is HEAT: That is, a lot of material at a high temperature. A small amount of high-temperature things isn't particularly bad, especially with low conductivity materials. It's how people can do coal-walking/lava-walking.

@@victorvirgili4447 Once again, you're overselling temperature. The sun is enough to heat the earth, not just because of its temperature, but because it's absolutely massive. I wouldn't know the safe size for sure, but I would imagine the 'mini sun' created is far, far smaller than the reactor exploiting and maintaining it. Given we've superheated several things as part of experiments before (albeit in small amounts) it's not as insanely unsafe as you guys are making it out to be.
