@@vittosphonecollection57289 I've never had the pleasure of owning any of the the "new" 3ds systems besides the 2ds xl which imo is one of the worst 3ds systems for various reasons. But what is a "new" 3ds xl like? Is it as great as people say it is? I've often heard it's "the absolute best" especially if it has IPS screens apparently

@@RetroTetrimo I mean it is the absolute best model because it has more power, buttons and the screens are pretty large, but it shouldn't feel that different from a Normal 3DS XL. It's less different than it's regular model than the OLED Switch is (always if the "regular model" is the 3DS XL, because it is much better than the regular 3DS). Also the 3D works very well because it follows your eyes, so you don't have to look directly at the center of the screen to see the 3D effect. The C stick is a bit hard (I always used it with my nails) but it's there and you can (or could because Idk if intenet still works) use it to speed up or slow down KZfaq videos and the extra power is not used much, but the best example that comes into my mind is Minecraft, which lags a lot on survival mode, but actually runs at 60fps on creative!! Plus the design of the console feels much more modern the previous ones and I like the new home button and the start and select buttons being DS style. It does lack the customizable backplates of the regular New 3DS tho. So yeah, I think it is the definitive experience, but I don't know how people talk about it (but probably are right). DS games look blurry but: 1) You can always play them at OG resolution by holding Start and Select while launching a DS title, but the screens will be small 2) If you have a 3DS and go back to the DS it's gonna look bad even with the sharpness of the original screens. I'd reccommend you to try it and decide if it's much better than the 3DS XL or not (except for 3D, where that's sure it's better), but I can almost guarantee it IS much better than the regular 3DS.

@@RetroTetrimo fr, I can load up my 3ds and just sit in the home menu and find something enjoyable to do. Also just the overall quirkiness of Nintendo at the time, it just hit different. The switch home screen is straight from hell and the eshop lags when I try to scroll down

I would but the 3ds in this video has been updated as I couldn't play half of my games on it

3DS systems seem to finally albeit slowly going down in price on places like eBay, so it's not impossible to find some.
