Southern Style Collard Greens With Smoked Ham Hocks l Easy And Delicious Recipe
Ingredients needed:
fresh collard greens
smoked ham hocks
32 oz chicken broth
2 cups water
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 onion
salt and black pepper

Only person I've seen make greens properly. Have to boil that meat for hours to make a rich stock, use onions, and cook those greens WITH the smoked meat. Only difference is I don't eat pork so I use turkey. My greens are full of onions and flavor! Great job! ❤

It only takes about 1 hour for collard greens to cook. I used ham hocks so it took me about 3 hours...2 hours for the ham hocks and 1 hour for the collard greens.
