Well firefly’s transformation is not based off of magical girls, rather it’s based of off Kamen Rider.

in this case it is more magical girls tbh Firefly is based of Kamen Rider but not purely Kamen Rider there are even some Gundam in it

Okay, do you have an example of Kamen Rider or Gundam transformations that look like the Firefly sequence? (Naked body, focus on one body part at a time with inspiring music), because to me it resembles Magical Girl transformation sequences much more than what I imagine when I think of Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider I normally imagine their suit just materializing on their body, I don't remember seeing one where they are in a floating void naked, then the suit appears one bit at a time. Can you tell me where that happens?

20:42 actually no the mech suit is just built like that becoz of the enemy its made to fight for never ending swarms of bugs in mind 🤣😂 Its more inline for the lore design rather than designing a character base on a trope

Fun fact. I downloaded the game just to get Firefly. Dont even care i can only get her to level 30, she is still ridiculous and so goddamn cool. Terminally ill badass sweet grean beans in mechas are probably one of my favorite genders behind straight up robots with existential issues.

Firefly reminds me a lot of the Star Ward clones, created for a purpose and discarded at the end, I love its story although I do see a lot of Hate because the game gives hints about Firefly and the MC having a romantic interest Curious fact in the game there are some enemies that are trash cans, who share the statistics with Sam as the boss (Firefly armor), Something that the mc adores and will be a recurring joke throughout the game, plus taking this information into account, Firefly already gives you clues that she is Sam.

I don't trust her at all and she gives me bad vibes overall, but I don't blame or shame others for liking her as I understand her appeal. Needless to say I like Kafka MUCH more

@@Yuki_Ika7 Yeah, Kafka doesn't act like a villain but got portrayed as villain by the storywriting, while Jade, she is Sadistic and Manipulative, but I like she stays true to it without any facade

unfortunately the whole firefly being sam thing is just gonna age into a darth vader being luke's father type of spoiler for any new players of honkai star rail. it's just going to be common knowledge and the only players who were able to properly experience her story in real time were the ones that played while 2.0/2.1 were live. just unfortunate.
