Күн бұрынRestoration and customization of an old hammer which I bought at the fleamarket. I added some lines and painted it black to give it cool look. There I try to show all steps of restoration this old little hammer.

Столько выеживаться , чтоб так акуратно положить в сервант и любоваться , а молоток рнужен чтоб гвозди забивать...

I loved this. The custom finish is over the top. I put on tin and copper roofs. I've used a similar hammer everyday for the last 43 years. I'll never forget my mentor saying, on my first day, " You can't get in a square corner with a round hammer." Thanks.

There's a lesson for life in this video : However bad (rust) you become in your life due to negativities (moist air) surrounding you, just dont go down.. watch this video you can recreate yourself as shining as this hammer..bcz your originality always lies inside that rusts uncorrupted...just go on and polish yourself...

For anyone wanting too restore their first hammer or axe. I found that cutting the wedge slot at the very start when your wood is still square stock, gives the best precision for centering. Then I shape the handle.

Nice! Back in the day when there were shop classes and Goldwater was running for President I made a hammer like that but about 3/4 the size from scratch. All hacksaw and hand filing. Heat treating and such. I gave it to my dad for a Father’s Day gift with handle of course. Don’t know what he did with it.

здравствуйте, я то думал что то серьезное с креплением, а это дизайн, но может кому то это и нужно, но я сверлю молот по центру, и вставляю туда алюминивый чепик ,и расклепываю!!!

Клин рекомендую забивать по диагонали торца рукоятки .. Тогда он не вылетает десятилетиями ...
