The third train I caught today ended up being the second BNSF coal train. This one had a BNSF GEVO leading it with a BNSF SD70ACe trailing and two BNSF GEVOs on the DPU. Not the most interesting lash-up, but since the leader was a slightly older one, it wasn't the worst either.

That crossing is no longer there it has an overpass now because NS has added more tracks and a spur line to the new Toyota plant nearby

The bell is giving the gate mechanism a hard time due to the bell ringing very fast

Came from the Scherer Power Plant in Georgia and is heading for somewhere on the BNSF, I think in Wyoming.

Elliott Wolcott Yes, since it had to go through Chattanooga to get on this line, and then it also went through Memphis to get to the BNSF.
