it's really hard to code situational-style attacks like blitzkrieg where there's so many things a competent human being would check beforehand. similar reason why ai naval invasions are still garbage.

The border still ain’t accurate the area that sticks into Lithuania in the south should be German. Hopefully it’s returned in the new update with the Germans as it’s already confirmed with a German scientist quote and a Prussian background.

Honestly prefer old HOI4 when the game was simpler and less complex. I think the game was just right when fuel was added, and after that the game really didn't need anything else personally. Fuel just prevented massive tank/air spamming which was a great method of balancing personally. Everything else like for example Trains is completely BS wasn't needed as infrastructure included trains technically.

Trains/ supply hubs basically hard codes Germany to stall before the Urals, with USSR at 95% capped. There will even be open tiles for Germany, but they won't exploit because of muh supply shortages. So then it's just a waiting game until Allied industry wrecks Germany.

I think the reworked supply system is great because the old one was really terrible, but all the stuff added to designers wasn't necessary imo. Navy was already complex enough as is

@@chungus816 New supply system was unnecessary though. The old system was much better personally, simple straight forward, not an extra element to cause you to waste unnecessary time. For example improving rail systems is a pain, because there are so many SO MANY gosh darn things you gotta click on. Meanwhile infrastructure originally acted as an all in one improvement to soldiers mobility and supply flow/resource gain in regions. Instead they split it all up into separate elements now. I just hate that. Sorry but I don't like all the additional micro management they've added to the economic/resource elements of the game. I honestly never had a problem with how the old system worked. Nothing is more frustrating than realizing because you neglected improving railroads in occupied territories your armies now have to grind to all because you neglected to improve the rail lines in an enemy country that they had no problem moving their own forces through prior. It just unnecessarily slows things down on a game that is already long and can take hours to play a single session. I mean I can imagine someone playing RISK or Axis & Allies and having to deal with that kind of dumb nonsense. There are reasons none of my friends want to play Multiplayer on it anymore. Its just gotten too tedious, and matches just take way too long now days.
