Old IBM Self Checkout @ Giant Eagle Parma Ohio

4 жыл бұрынThey have the Datalogic/PSC Magellan 8500 Scanners, so they are old period. The other ones has a replaced scanner by Datalogic Magellan 9800i. The Lakewood Giant Eagle does use that scanner too but It is now a Toshiba Self Checkout System 6 right there with only one IBM at Lane 11 as the cashier lanes also are IBM with smaller display like this self checkout at Cleveland, Berea, and Parma. It used to be an IBM when it was around 2013. Plus, there is a cover on the keypad on the pin pad with the old verifone logo.

Datalogic is very popular as well as NCR and I remember the 2000 years of IBM until NCR came out.

This is the only Giant Eagle I have ever been to with an old Datalogic scanner which stop and shop also uses. This was more common back in 2011.

@@selfcheckoutfansnewchannel2716 that’s not the only Giant Eagle that has the old scanner there’s also the one in Elizabeth pa at Allegheny County and the one in Edgewood Swissvale pa
