You're absolutely right. I'm 62 and I bought my fatbike two+ years ago (october 2014). I feel like a young boy, when I'm riding along trails and paths through the forests. And wearing jeans, of course. ; ) Jens Jacobs, you have nice and well done videos, nice old man style riding.

You must have had some dalliance with Observed Trials in a former life. I also like to use my Fat Bike like this and at 60, am looking at an electric. Would love to do what you are doing but a severe lost of vision makes me fit for all bloopers. LOL. Still, I love doing the of road slow with the Fat Bike. Thanks!!!

I didn't know you were making a continuous, progression. You REALLY ARE rocking this Fat Bike! It's obvious you're stayin in great shape while you're at it! You make it look easy, although I'm sure it's not, even in your first video it looks like you are already poppin wheelies! It's incredible all the different terrain you are going through! Is it tough to keep your balance even when you're going so slow, almost at a stand still? Thanks for sharing these Old Man ~Fat Tire ;) Looks like you progressed quickly.

Well, thanks for the video, but I have two points of view: I have a fatbike, love to ride it, trails and not! So fun, can go anywhere, well I'm 74, so really can't go anywhere. Second, going anywhere where other critters live, like in streams, floors in the woods, swamps, even snow, cause little creatures live under the snow and compaction deprives them of their insulation necessary to live. I'm a forester, not a rabid environmentalist, but suggest that humans don't really have to destroy all the earthly habitat of other species.
@OldManFatBike
@OldManFatBike 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks a bunch for your comments :-) I appreciate your concern Jim! I think "we as bikers" are doing a pretty good job of not destroying all the habitat of other species. A single track for walking and cycling in an area still leaves a great deal of untouched habitat for wildlife to flourish!! Peace

@Chad Kunka So I read the comment again, I agree with OMFB's reply about the trails and trails use. I use them a lot. However with regard to riding everywhere and anywhere, I stand retarded. But I knew that.

@Chad Kunka Hey Chand, no problem, I get to ripping some times after a few glasses of vino. Hope you are enjoying your fat tire bike. I have mine in Farmington, NM with a lot of sand. It is so neat to float over it instead of burying my front tire and ungracefully slow motion crashing. Cheers, ride safe! Jim

+Ben Sheppard I typically use my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I also use an Apple iPad from time to time. Most recently I added the Vivitar DVR 794HD. I'm not very pleased with the Vivitar because I can't remove the date/time stamp because the app that is used to control the camera is crap.
