I know this is a video from about a year ago but i ran across it while watching a new one and when u were eating breakfast and john tasted the gravy and bobbie u said ur mom made excellent gravy and now i know she has passed it made me sad cause my mom made really good gravy too and she passed in 2008...but the hurt never leaves..bless both of u.🙏🙏🙏

My family and I always eat here when we visit Pigeon Forge. I’ve had their breakfast and lunch. Food is very good!

Jon's breakfast looked delicious but I would never be able to eat all of that. Grits are ok. They remind me of Cream of Wheat so when I get grits at Cracker Barrell I add some butter and sugar to them as long as the grits are hot.

Grits are good with salt, pepper, cheese, butter and bacon. That’s how my husband made them. They were so good! And I never liked grits before.

Grits are good with butter and plenty of salt. Also pour sausage gravy over the grits . So good. And I'm a good olde Northern gal.

I live in Florida and we love grits! For breakfast and for dinner. At breakfast I make plain grits with plenty of salt pepper, milk, and lots of butter. We like to mix them up with our scrambled eggs. For dinner I add cheese to make cheesy grits and usually make them when I'm making BBQ chicken or ribs. But those you had looked like grits SOUP. Mine are thick and creamy, and cooked long enough to get rid of most of the "grit". LOL! I'm not sure I could have eaten those.

Yellow cornmeal grits with butter for breakfast the first day. The next day leftovers made into cornmeal pancakes with butter and "Log Cabin" sryup. Fancy name "polenta" in Italian.

Breakfast is a favorite meal of mine. Bobbie had it right, sunny side up to eat with it. As far as grits, you have to have them the right way. The right way can be different ways. I always add butter and sugar. And milk if they’re too thick. But they also taste great with cheese and hatch chili’s. If that’s ever an option, you definitely need to try again. It all looked great. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Plain grits are “fillers” we have a place call Miss Shirley’s and their grits have mascarpone cheese, heavy cream and bacon….sooo good

You should video the cooks that is the best restaurant in that area. And that butter is like no other. There pancakes are the best to.

Biscuits and gravy is the way to go and those grits are to runny should be firmer and they are so good with cheese

I Love grits with sugar I was Raised on grits they are really good with Cheese in them and the Biscuits with Gravy yummy that what I would get John all of favorite Breakfast food on one plate. Bobbie looks good too but I would get the plain bread I don't like raisins.

We love. Grits, you have to find a way you like yours🙂.I love mines with butter, sometimes with cheese. Plain grits don't have much flavor,you have to salt the water, if not they won't have any flavor..I have put bacon in mines, there's a lot of ways, my husband sometimes put red-eye gravy on his, I boil the salt out my ham so it don't be to salty,once you fry the ham, you can add coffee to the pan and make red eye gravy. But I said people add milk, cream cheese, we grew up eating grits, especially in the winter. If you order grits and not sure just add some butter, if they taste bland, it means they didn't add a little salt to the water. They gave y'all a lot of food, breakfast that big should be shared. We have a small farm so we have hogs, cute our own ham. So I know how salty they can be, so you have to boil some that salt out. My husband eat a good breakfast because we work hard need the energy. We are not cream of wheat fans, but will eat them with cream, and a little sugar. My dad love both grits and cream of wheat. To each his or her owns. It's either toast or biscuits, usually one kind of meat, either ham, or bacon or sausage. To have that much would be a bit much unless you are really hungry and you need a good breakfast to last you till lunchtime. My husband have coffee everyday. I mostly like coffee in the fall or winter when it's cold. The food is good, we have ate there, but our oldest boys was with us, you know teenagers can eat a lot, so nothing was left. Hi Guys, I think you can put butter and sugar into the grits to make them taste better. Both of your platters look so good (I am so hungry right now) and you seemed to enjoy them. We have never been there for breakfast but have had dinner there several times. It was always great food and large quantities.

Bobbi's breakfast looks so good. I love sweet breakfast foods but it all looks really good. Did you ever eat breastfed at the pancake house right near the Riveredge campground on Cates lane ? They have delicious pecan pancakes.

I'm with you Bobbie, I love fried cornmeal mush with butter and maple syrup. It's made with thick yellow corn grits molded into a loaf, chilled and sliced, then fried in butter. My Mom made it, so good. I enjoy grits with butter as as breakfast side and as a hot cereal with butter, sugar and milk. I've been to the Old Mill recently with my best friend for dinner. I had excellent blackened trout. Would love to visit again for breakfast.
