As per NCERT, (given in the booklet) Contents of the textbooks have been rationalised in view of the following: •Overlapping with similar content included in other subject areas in the same class •Similar content included in the lower or higher class in the same subject •Difficultylevel •Content, which is easily accessible to students without much interventions from teachers and can be learned by children through self-learning or peer-learning •Content, which is irrelevant in the present context. 2nd and 4th point itself says we have to learn the deleted content even though they have done so, because those content are basic knowledge for students who didn't learn it properly in their smaller classes. Also APPENDIX 3.1 is also removed which gives basics of Calculus (Differentiation & Integration).

I am turning from class 10th to 11th..and l have brought New NCERT and l am preparing for NEET.. l have two years to clear the exam..(in 2025 l will appear) So I want to ask which book should l prefer..old or the new one?? Before buying the new book l was making notes from old book's PDFs by searching them in Google.. Now the situation is that l have old notes but new book... So what l have to do...l can also make new notes l have much time but the rationalisation of books have confuse me... Please ma'am tell me as soon as possible..
