Yea a dude did that when I first started playing and he helped me be really good at the game his name was gardener and I'm thankful for him for teaching me everything but his base always got raided by toxic ppl and he eventually switched servers

@@off-roadoutlaws1270 I believe they give the same amount of calories but tomatoes give over twice as many per plant, therefore over double calories per plant.

I say zucchini cause they feed you more per zucchini so you don’t have to eat as many to be full, avoiding the full stomach more.

I was on a official xbox server 8546, My crew n i built a huge base at prison on liviona. we always put tomatoes in gliniska, sobotka, brena n kolembrody. Unfortunately we had war w a few clans n kept destroying the crops

I know it used to be 3 heli crashes per server, random to whether they're smoking or not, randomly put over the map and they used tonchange every hour or after sever restart, Now I'm not sure of the timings and they don't change after restart. My aim when playing the game is to find heli crashes I have a good route I use, have close to 20 heli crash guns since the update. All I know since the update that heli crashes spawn the vss and sval together but I've only come across it once. Also since the past few updates they've put some regular guns in the spawn cycle, ak74u, vargas and the occasional sk which is unfortunate. Also sometimes the heli crashes don't spawn guns at all anymore and things like military tents, nvgs etc. I reckon as close to 25 percent since the 1.09 update. I tend to do a loot route triangle from Grishino, to lopatino to pushtoka back to grishino n am disappointed to not see 1 a day minimum. Zombies will now respawn if u left the area around the crash site so u can no longer use that to know whether its been looted already. Zombies around the crash used to mean no one's got to it, not anymore so beware running straight up on high servers. Lol Hope this limited info somewhat helps until hopefully wobo does his thing and hives us the real deal stats.

It depends on the server since server owners can configure heli crashes to work however they want But in vanilla there’s 3 spawned in at one time and i think they switch spots every 45 minutes with refreshed loot every time they relocate Cop cars also work in a similar way but with cop car wrecks there’s i think 5 in the map at once and i think they refresh every 20-30 minutes (which can also be fully configured by server owners just like heli crashes)

@@WOBO Wow! A KZfaqr that isn't taking every dollar comin'? You really are a rare gem. Thanks for the reply, it means bunches. So I logged backed in to check on my helping only base...... Completely raided. I had 2 canopy tents and a improvised shelter outside filled with backpacks, clothes, food, etc. Contents and shelters gone. I had 2 doors locked with lotsa crates inside with some small arms but mostly more basic stuff that I would share with new spawns I met. Doors destroyed and everything but some sneakers and seeds gone. I WAS ONLY TRYING TO HELP NOT HURT. I previously tried to set up a base in Cherno but got killed 3 times inside my base apartment. I went back each time, I didn't have to chance to lock doors but nothing stolen (I didn't have much), they just wanted the kills. I was setting up another base with someone I met but he had lots of loot on him coming back to base and a player teleported in front of him and killed him. I really, really tried to like DayZ. I have watched SOOOO much content on KZfaq and Twitch from Wobo, RunningMan, BarelyInfected, Frankie1080 just to name a few. I LOVE the concept of this game. Unfortunately my experience with this game is the same as any other online game I have tried to dip my toes into. There is a significant part of the community that is not interested in your gear, the thrill or excitement of a battle or anything else except how to cause the most grief to another human being. Yes I know there are good people out there, I have met them but there are simply too many others that want nothing but to destroy. I have to give up on this game because it is simply not fun to endure this and I play games for fun. I will go back to single player only games because then I don't have to deal with toxic humanity. Thank you Wobo and your contributors and other streamers. I truly did enjoy my time watching your content and you really did sell me on this game. It's just not for me, but thank you.

And it's people like you we need more of in this DayZ community. I've been in a war with about 2 different factions and dying to respawn is so hard but with people like you who plant gardens everywhere it helps me get straight back into the fight. So again thank you for everything you do 🙏💕

@@WOBO Hey Wobo, I don't know where to get ahold of you but I have questions about shoes/boots and their life expectancy in dayz. I figured if anyone knows it would be you. Or at the very least, maybe it's an idea for you to science numbers this for us. Is there a difference in how long different shoes/boots last? And as a bonus question, does the prison island destroy them faster than normal. My squad and I are noticing our boots are being ruined crazy fast at the prison. Ps, we're on xbox.

I had crops regrowing for 8 days on every server restart. I think garden plots are as persistent as tents. There's no need to replant a grown plant AFAIK.

@@WOBO Interesting...The types.xml file has GardenPlot at 7 days. However, I wonder if harvesting the crop makes them despawn faster (or stops regrowing...example it might have an internal counter of X times regrowth after harvesting)

@@himanshupgupta Because I'm the only player that goes on my server, it is sometimes set to offline by my hosting company, I guess that's why it lasted 8 days. My server restarts every 24 hours and nothing respawned in that time. I was online all day as I was recording while sleeping. Most servers restart sooner than 24hrs. My guess is that a script to count regrowth number doesn't exist because it's never triggered due to a restart coming sooner. If you want to test it you could try spam restarting a server while harvesting the plant every restart. I did it 5 times before coming to the conclusion above, but I could be wrong.

I think that was fixed in 1.11: "Exploit allowing players to get infinite plant seeds". The seeds were consumed consistently when I was testing it.

I'm testing this now but they are not growing or displaying that they're watered. I just shows a damp seed in a dry hole :p I'll continue testing it while I AFK today but I don't think it will work.

You have to remember to add water or animal fat to the cooking pot and pan so it doesn’t burn, that isn’t a bug that’s how it’s supposed to work. And since farming is also realistic in this update you have to disinfect your crops otherwise they have a high chance of becoming diseased which makes them rotten instantly, all you need to disinfect them is the disinfectant spray and then spray all of your crops with it to make them safe

Cook them _actually, when you come near a cooking station, there's an option in the station's inventory (drying)_

Its cosmetic helmets cover your entire head face shield or not there is no face hitbox

It’s purely cosmetic, even if your face is exposed with any helmet you wear the helmet will still absorb any shots taken to the face regardless Though it would be cool if they fixed that to make it a tad bit more realistic and made the face shields have a purpose other than for looks
