Our return visit to Old San Juan, Puerto Rico aboard Carnival’s Celebration was an unforgettable experience. As we approached the port, the picturesque cityscape of vibrant colored buildings welcomed us with open arms. The city's historical landmarks such as El Morro, Castillo San Cristobal, and La Fortaleza are not to be missed. Old San Juan remains a destination we will always cherish and full of memories that will be cherished forever.

We love San Juan. We always just walk around town and we always find something new. The last time we were there we took the walk on Paseo del Moro. It was absolutely breathtaking.

The Castillos (Forts) are a must-do in San Juan. Frankly after going to Europe and seeing the cathedrals in Spain, France and Italy (including St Peter's Basilica), the cathedrals of the western hemisphere are a big letdown. With more than one cruise ship in the port, San Juan gets far too crowded.
