Today I head up to the other farm where it is dry enough to plant and start disking a field with the good old CASE 2870! I also get to smash corn stalks with the Case IH magnum 290 and Brillion roller! A pretty fun job! Thanks for watching! #caseih #farming

Love that old Case. I have always been fascinated by them. Case were great tractors. Absolutely bomb proof. I had a 1949 Case SC that my grandpa bought brand new. I hated to sell it but I didn’t use it and wasn’t having trouble finding the room to store it. It still had the original rear tires on it with nearly full tread. It didn’t have a lot of hours on it!

Enjoyed the video powers like watching plenty cause.I always think it's a really neat time of year. The only thing you need to do is slow down on your panting. That's a little fast otherwise you do great.

Traction kings are awesome. I miss running the 2470 . My agri king is just as slow. 14mph but it pulls hard

Has the 2870 been a good tractor? I have heard they were endless problem tractors. Used to have a 4894 it was a good tractor.

Yeah it’s been great! It’s got over 10,000 hours on an original engine and the transmission has been bullet proof. You can tell the power shift is worn though it shifts a little rough some times 😂

Not often. We spread some on when we plant sugarbeets to help the beets through the weather when they are little but then we spray it off.

If you need auto steer you aren't much of a farmer. Don't get me wrong GPS has its uses but using auto steer is like a truck driver not being able to drive stick shift

I’ve driven plenty without auto steer and I’m not too bad at it. I was just saying it as a joke.
