Spoilers ahead Really nice finish to this series! I expected the battle at the end to be longer, but honestly appreciated the briefness. One word I could say is, Dewayne. Dewayne in my eyes is some sort of angel of death or something unique. Dewayne is present in each book and in all but three of the books he saves or helps the protagonist. He seemingly died in St. Andrew's, but he was there at the ranger station after the Wendigo was killed, he pulled Marcus out of the fire, and in this book, he was right alongside Noah at seemingly the end of the world. Oddly it seems as though Dewayne was able to be in three places at once when we hear about the burning manor and the lost hikers as Noah watches the news in this story. Also, I had thought that John had died in the first book alongside Dewayne, but as we learn after this story, Dewayne has recruited each protagonist of the series to work with him on his paranormal team! I would love to hear some author insight on Dewayne, but I do understand if the ambiguity must remain!

It’s a mistake I admitted to in production of the novel. There have been a few exceptions throughout the Catholic Church, however.

@@authordviergutz I believe if you are ordained in certain protestant religions (can't remember which ones) and you are already married you can be a priest. So I'm going to assume this is the case ;)

If you had a kid prior to becoming a priest that's fine. Some folks have a marriage that did not work out
