I love that cheat code because it turns the whole game into a different game itself. Like there was a scene where you in the sewer level when you have to like activate the levers to turn on water levels everything gets turned to lava.

Venom is an interesting character, half the time he’s a big scary monster, the other half he’s a big, moody, goof ball . I’m real happy they went with moody goofball for the movie

This game's rendition of Venom has to be the best I've seen and heard (voiced by Darran Norris). He's a great mix of scary and comedic. Every time I see him in a comic I hear Darran Norris' voice in my mind. Also don't forget the EELNATS password... absolutely godly.

I clicked this so fast, adored this game. A bit dated in controls, but it still has a lot of charm and passion put into it which is more than I can say about the Amazing Spiderman games.

Balthy Nope. Christopher Daniel Barnes was 90s Fox show Spider-man, and the one in this game was Rino Romano, Venom is different too he was played by Hank Azaria in the show and Darren Norris in the game

I played the N64 version. It was the first time I ever got to hear Stan Lee’s voice. And, perhaps appropriately, another Spider-Man game would be the last time. Rest in Peace.

JesusFreak Prime Spider-Man 3 (Wii version) actually had the web swinging mechanics like the second game, but most people under appreciate the game because the PS3/360 versions of the game did it the simpler way, even though they were more powerful hardware. Disappointing really, I feel like if the Wii version was the only release, it would be just as praised as the second game was.

This game was a huge part of my childhood. I remember getting for, I want to say my 9th or 10th birthday and it was my favorite of the few games that I owned. Haven't seen it in years so it was awesome to see you take a look at it and give me a giant nostalgia rush. Cool to see you enjoyed it as well even if it hasn't aged great after all these years.

Actually, I had no idea about that. Thanks for sharing. This game just keeps on giving.... I do however recall some of the environments changing somewhat from playthrough to playthrough. The underwater tunnel, I'm sure, used to change slightly each time I played it. I was 10 years old or so, and thus an unreliable source ;P

Two things. 1) The code to do what if mode? It's the first letter of the first 7 (I think) stages in level select. 2) Parts of the game did change outside of what if mode. Different difficulties didn't simply adjust damage values, some stages are outright altered to be easier on lower difficulties. Play the game on, say, Normal or hard and then play on Kid mode. See that, Nintendo? They actually designed the game to be played by kids. THey didn't just give Spidey infinite health.

I remember feeling like an absolute boss when I beat this on the hardest difficulty when I was little. Monster Ock has to be one of the freakiest final bosses in gaming history, this game is such a classic.

Yeah, I just watched a video of his where someone mentioned him being like 24 and the video is 3 years old, so he has to be around at least 27 right now. I grew up with games like these, and I will be 30 in March.

Could be that PAL copy. I hated being stuck with crappy 50hz versions of games.

It's totally in the PAL version. I remember my brother playing the game and being so confused the first time it happened. I always thought it was great.

Love this! This was my first Spiderman anything ever. Great video. I personally found the venom and carnage chases unbearable whereas I thought Mysterio was pretty easy. Loved the what if mode most of all.

I'm 3:41 into the vidya. I fucking loved this game. I got it when I was 8 or 9 and it was one of the first games I remember being able to beat speedrun style because I had it so memorized and knew all of the Easter Eggs, like finding the Green Goblins hideout inside of one of the cranes on level 3 or 4. Fucckk dude. Imma be playing this game on my channel soon actually!
