2:56 That M4 Sherman was not happy, repeated backfiring is not good for engines and could mean problems, could also be normal if cold starting

It also depends on the engine model, early model Shermans used the Wright R975 Whirlwind radial engine (a plane engine basically) which would explain the backfires since its common for radial engines to back fire at that age and temperature. If it was a later war variant with the GM 6046, A57 Multibank or Ford GAA V8 Diesels, it would be a different story but age does play a factor

To: Cars and Engines Could I make a suggestion? Would it be possible to put your written descriptions of the vehicles in one of the top corners of the video instead of the bottom left? I find a lot of your videos very interesting, but when I try to pause the video to read the description, the description is hidden behind the KZfaq "pause" "skip" and "volume" buttons, as well as the "video advance bar" and the "video time". After trying to read the descriptions through the KZfaq buttons that show-up when I pause the video, after 2-3 minutes I get frustrated and close the video. I think your KZfaq channel might be more successful if you place the vehicle descriptions in an area where people can pause the video to read the descriptions, and the descriptions don't get hidden behind the KZfaq buttons.
